Thursday, May 27 at 10AM US Central time: James Petras

Petras is Binghamton University, New York Professor Emeritus, a noted figure on the left, a well-respected Latin American expert, and a longtime chronicler of the region’s popular struggles.

He’s also a prolific author of hundreds of articles and dozens of books, including his latest titled, “Global Depression and Regional Wars.”

His latest views on world and national events will be discussed, including the Gulf disaster.

Saturday, May 29 at noon US Central time: Jack Rasmus

Rasmus is a Professor of Political Economy at St. Mary’s College and Santa Clara University, CA. He’s also a freelance journalist, frequent speaker, a playwright and author, including newest book now available titled, “Epic Recession and Financial Crisis: Prelude to Global Depression.”

The book and Rasmus’ latest views on the economy will be discussed.

Sunday, May 30 at noon US Central time: Edward Herman

Herman is Professor Emeritus of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School where he taught for many years. He’s also an economist, political and media analyst, prolific writer and author of numerous books, including his latest, co-authored with David Peterson, titled, “The Politics of Genocide.”

The book and Herman’s current views on world events will be discussed.

Stephen Lendman was born in 1934 in Boston, MA. In 1956, he received a BA from Harvard University. Two years of US Army service followed, then an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1960. After working seven years as a marketing research analyst, he joined the Lendman Group family business in 1967. He remained there until retiring at year end 1999. Writing on major world and national issues began in summer 2005. In early 2007, radio hosting followed. Lendman now hosts the Progressive Radio News Hour on the Progressive Radio Network three times weekly. Distinguished guests are featured. Listen live or archived. Major world and national issues are discussed. Lendman is a 2008 Project Censored winner and 2011 Mexican Journalists Club international journalism award recipient.
