Nikki Haley’s Historical Revisionism
by Stephen Lendman
In March 29 remarks at the Council on Foreign Relations, Haley called America “the moral conscience of the world.”
Orwellian dystopia more accurately describes the horrors of US policies. Haley’s disinformation fell flat.
“(H)uman rights are at the heart of” America’s UN mission, she blustered, ignoring its rape, destruction and plunder of one nation after another, shifting blame for its high crimes on others.
US terror-bombing massacres civilians indiscriminately. It targets hospitals, schools, residential areas and other nonmilitary sites – flagrant international law violations.
Haley’s remarks ignored reality, blaming Assad for America’s crimes of war and against humanity.
“Syrian human rights violations have led to the greatest refugee crisis since WW II,” she ranted.
America bears full responsibility for millions of casualties, vast destruction, and floods of internal and external refugees, desperately seeking safe havens to survive US aggression, including atrocities committed by its terrorist foot soldiers.
Haley: “This is a moment of great responsibility for those who believe in peace and security through international cooperation.”
Fact: Peace and stability undermine America’s imperial agenda. Endless wars of aggression serve it.
Might makes right reflects official US policy. America glorifies wars. It made planet earth more a battleground than hospitable habitat – unsafe and unfit to live in because of state-sponsored rage to dominate.
Its arrogance, hubris, delusions of grandeur and madness may kill us all.
Haley is part of the problem, not the solution, along with other bipartisan lunatics infesting Washington – humanity’s greatest threat.
