Petras is Binghamton University, New York Professor Emeritus, a noted figure on the left, a well-respected Latin American expert, and longtime chronicler of the region’s popular struggles.

He’s also a prolific author of hundreds of articles and dozens of books, including his latest titled, “War Crimes in Gaza and the Zionist Fifth Column in America.”

His important new book will be discussed.

Saturday, September 4 at noon US Central time: John Kozy

Jamail is an activist and independent award-winning journalist who reported “unembedded” from Iraq from 2003 – 2005. His Dahr Jamail’s Dispatches can be followed on his web site – dahrjamailiraq.com.

He’s also an author, his latest book titled, “The Will to Resist: Soldiers Who Refuse to Fight in Iraq and Afghanistan.”

Since the spring Gulf of Mexico disaster, he’s been reporting regularly from affected areas, producing the same honest journalism he did on Iraq.

The ongoing Gulf disaster will be discussed.
