McMurtry is Professor Emeritus from the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. He’s a moral philosopher, ethicist, and vocal activist for global justice, world peace, and international law. His books include Unequal Freedoms, The Cancer Stage of Capitalism, and Value Wars.

Discussion will focus on Franklin Roosevelt’s second bill of rights, what so few know about today when more than ever it’s needed.

Saturday, November 20 at noon US Central time: Jack Rasmus

Rasmus is Professor of Political Economy at St. Mary’s College and Santa Clara University, CA. He’s also a freelance journalist, frequent speaker, a playwright and author, including his latest book titled, Epic Recession: Prelude to Global Depression. Another Rasmus book will be out in 2011, titled “Obama’s Economy: Stagnation and Collapse 2008-2010.”

His current economic views will be discussed.

Sunday, November 21 at noon US Central time: Jennifer Loewenstein

Loewenstein teaches at the University of Wisconsin and is Associate Director of its Middle East Studies Program. She’s also a board member of the Israeli Coalition against House Demolitions-USA branch, founder of the Madison-Rafah Sister City Project, and a freelance journalist.

The Israeli/Palestinian conflict will be discussed.
