Thursday, February 17 at 10AM US Central time: James Petras

Petras is Binghamton University, New York Professor Emeritus, a noted figure on the left, a well-respected Latin American expert, and longtime chronicler of the region’s popular struggles.

He’s also a consummate scholar and prolific writer of hundreds of articles and dozens of books, including his latest titled, “War Crimes in Gaza and the Zionist Fifth Column in America.”

Major world and national events will be discussed, including prospects from Middle East uprisings.

Saturday, February 19 at noon US Central time: Ellen Brown

Brown is a civil litigation attorney, author, and frequent writer on financial issues. A new edition of her important book, “Web of Debt,” is a brilliant analysis of the private banking system, how it usurped money creation power, and how we can get it back.

Brown also heads the Public Banking Institute (PBI), an initiative to return money power to the people where it belongs.

Brown’s latest writing will be discussed.

Sunday, February 20 at noon US Central time: Immanuel Wallerstein

Wallerstein is a Yale University Senior Research Scholar, focusing on three domains of world systems analysis – the historical development of modern world systems, the structures of knowledge, and the contemporary crisis of the capitalist world economy.

His latest views and analysis will be discussed, including on Middle East events.

Stephen Lendman was born in 1934 in Boston, MA. In 1956, he received a BA from Harvard University. Two years of US Army service followed, then an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1960. After working seven years as a marketing research analyst, he joined the Lendman Group family business in 1967. He remained there until retiring at year end 1999. Writing on major world and national issues began in summer 2005. In early 2007, radio hosting followed. Lendman now hosts the Progressive Radio News Hour on the Progressive Radio Network three times weekly. Distinguished guests are featured. Listen live or archived. Major world and national issues are discussed. Lendman is a 2008 Project Censored winner and 2011 Mexican Journalists Club international journalism award recipient.
