Thursday, July 21 at 10AM US Central time: Bill Dod

Dod is a Russia Today ( news presenter, the 24-hour worldwide satellite news channel, producing reports, commentary and analysis suppressed by America’s major media.

His work and RT’s will be discussed.

Saturday, July 23 at noon US Central time: James Fetzer and John Pilger

Fetzer is the distinguished Department of Philosophy McKnight University Professor Emeritus at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.

He’s a prolific author of numerous articles and over 20 books in the philosophy of science and on the theoretical foundations of computer science, artificial intelligence and cognitive science.

He’s also the founder of Scholars for 9/11 truth, a non-partisan association of faculty, students, and scholars, dedicated to exposing official lies, removing the shroud of deceit, and revealing truths behind 9/11.

Major world and national issues will be discussed.

Pilger is an award-winning journalist and documentary filmmaker. His achievements include years as a foreign and war correspondent, 10 books, and other frequent writings.

In June, the Lannan Foundation cancelled the premiere showing of his new film, “The War You Don’t See.”

Discussion will focus on the film’s theme (war and media) and why Lannan banned it.

Sunday, July 24 at noon US Central time: Max Keiser and Kathy Kelly

Keiser is a former Wall Street broker turned filmmaker, TV host and critic extraordinaire, examining predatory financial practices.

He currently hosts Press TV’s “On the Edge” and Russia Today’s “The Keiser Report” with Stacy Herbert, a dynamic duo of real commentary and analysis.

Kelly is a long-time political/social/anti-war activist and coordinator of Voices for Creative Nonviolence (VCNV). In 1996, she helped establish Voices in the Wilderness to end the repressive US/UN Iraq sanctions.

VCNV is a dedicated resistance campaign against imperial wars, violence, and the “war on terror,” abroad and at home.

Kelly recently participated in the Freedom Flotilla II humanitarian mission as a passenger aboard the US Boat to Gaza/Audacity of Hope.

Discussion will focus on what she and others experienced.

Stephen Lendman was born in 1934 in Boston, MA. In 1956, he received a BA from Harvard University. Two years of US Army service followed, then an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1960. After working seven years as a marketing research analyst, he joined the Lendman Group family business in 1967. He remained there until retiring at year end 1999. Writing on major world and national issues began in summer 2005. In early 2007, radio hosting followed. Lendman now hosts the Progressive Radio News Hour on the Progressive Radio Network three times weekly. Distinguished guests are featured. Listen live or archived.
