McGovern is a retired CIA officer (1963 – 1990), turned activist and political critic, addressing major world and national issues in lectures and frequent articles.
He’s actively participating in Occupy Washington for social justice. That issue will be discussed.
Saturday, November 5 at noon US Central time: Kevin Barrett
Barrett is a scholar, university lecturer, and author. His book titled “Questioning the War on Terror” rips apart conventional views. It exposes motives behind it. They’re sinister ones to engender fear, wage imperial wars, and impose draconian homeland repression.
Major world and national issues will be discussed.
Sunday, November 6 at noon US Central time: Graeme MacQueen
Graeme MacQueen is founding Director of the Centre for Peace Studies at McMaster University.
He participated in developing peace-building projects in Sri Lanka, Gaza, Croatia, Afghanistan. He also helped develop India’s Women’s Peace Brigade and serves on a Canadian Board supporting this initiative.
In recent years, he focused heavily on 9/11 studies, wrote four related research articles, and gives numerous talks and interviews on the topic, including on today’s program.

Stephen Lendman was born in 1934 in Boston, MA. In 1956, he received a BA from Harvard University. Two years of US Army service followed, then an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1960. After working seven years as a marketing research analyst, he joined the Lendman Group family business in 1967. He remained there until retiring at year end 1999. Writing on major world and national issues began in summer 2005. In early 2007, radio hosting followed. Lendman now hosts the Progressive Radio News Hour on the Progressive Radio Network three times weekly. Distinguished guests are featured. Listen live or archived. Major world and national issues are discussed. Lendman is a 2008 Project Censored winner and 2011 Mexican Journalists Club international journalism award recipient.
