Petras is Binghamton University, New York Professor Emeritus, a noted figure on the left, a distinguished Latin American expert, and longtime chronicler of the region’s popular struggles.
He’s also a consummate scholar and prolific writer of hundreds of articles and dozens of books, including his latest titled, “The Arab Revolt and the Imperialist Counterattack.”
Major world and national issues will be discussed.
Saturday, March 17 at noon US Central time: Robert Abele
Abele is Professor of Humanities and Philosophy at Diablo Valley College, CA. He also authored four books, including “Democracy Gone” and “Anatomy of a Deception” about the Iraq invasion, occupation, and preparation for the next deception.
Major world and national issues will be discussed.
Sunday, March 18 at noon US Central time: Graeme MacQueen
MacQueen is founding Director of the Centre for Peace Studies at McMaster University.
He participated in developing peace-building projects in Sri Lanka, Gaza, Croatia, Afghanistan. He also helped develop India’s Women’s Peace Brigade and serves on a Canadian Board supporting this initiative.
In recent years, he focused heavily on 9/11 studies. He’s one of Consensus 9/11’s distinguished panel members. He wrote four related research articles, and gives numerous talks and interviews on the topic.
Peace, 9/11, and related issues will be discussed.
