The Progressive Radio News Hour Guests for June 28, 30, and July 1, 2012

Thursday, June 28 at 10AM US Central time: Laila Yaghi
Laila is US political prisoner Ziyad Yaghi’s mother. We met in Chicago and discussed Ziyad firsthand.
Like many other persecuted US Muslims, he was wrongfully charged, convicted and imprisoned despite having committed no crimes.
Nonetheless, he’s serving 30 years in prison during the prime of his life. Laila does all she can to help him. She maintains the Free Zihad Yaghi site. Visit it for regular updates.
Discussion will focus on this great injustice. It’s the wrong time to be Muslim in America. Many others suffer like Ziyad.
Saturday, June  30 at noon US Central time: Jack Rasmus
Rasmus is Professor of Political Economy at St. Mary’s College and Santa Clara University, CA. He’s also a freelance journalist, frequent speaker, a playwright and author, including his latest book titled, “Epic Recession: Prelude to Global Depression.”
His new book is titled, “Obama’s Economy: Recovery for the Few.”
His book and current views on the economy will be discussed.
Sunday, July 1 at noon US Central time: Don DeBar
DeBar is a longtime activist/journalist, a former Pacifica Radio WBAI news editor, and current CPR Morning Show host.
