Obama Escalates Afghan War
by Stephen Lendman
Disturbing but true! Nearly 15 years of US naked aggression on Afghanistan aren’t enough, America’s longest war, raging endlessly.
Obama authorized escalated US involvement – on the phony pretext of aiding Afghan forces. How far he intends going remains to be seen, waging wars in multiple theaters – endless conflicts, trillions of dollars diverted from vital homeland needs.
An unnamed senior US defense official said airstrikes will be escalated – stopping short of explaining the Afghan war was lost years ago, a grand illusion  believing otherwise.
Nothing initiated now will change things. Will more US ground forces be put in harm’s way? Will body bags coming home increase? Will media scoundrels ignore them?
Will Obama’s successor escalate things further? Afghanistan and Iraq are US forever wars.
Mass slaughter and destruction assure more of the same, Syria Libya, Yemen and Donbass ravaged the same way, Palestine partnered with Israel – new targets in the wings to be struck, plans drawn up against Russia, China and Iran not implemented.
America repeats the supreme international crime against peace against one country after another – addicted to war on humanity.
Wherever it intervenes, failed states follow. The only rules it follows are its own, ones serving its imperial interests.
Client state puppet regimes do its bidding. Millions of ordinary people suffer hugely. Eventual doom may be humanity’s fate if this monster isn’t stopped.
America is the greatest threat to peace in world history. No other regime matched its ruthlessness on a global scale – none more addicted to endless wars.
