Trump on Russian TV: Media Scoundrels React As Expected
by Stephen Lendman
The militantly anti-Russia New York Times published an AP story
about Trump on Russian TV instead of reporting its own. He debunked accusations about Moscow trying to influence or disrupt America’s November elections.
Calling it “unlikely,” he said Democrats claim it, without explaining it’s to divert attention from Hillary’s multiple scandals, criminal offenses landing ordinary people in prison if they committed her wrongdoing.
Other media scoundrels jumped on the story, using it to bash Trump irresponsibly. CNN said
he was interviewed “on a television station funded by the Kremlin.”
His spokesman Jason Miller said he recorded the interview as a podcast, unaware it would be aired on RT America and International.
Since I began writing and doing media work in retirement years ago, I’ve had numerous radio and TV interviews, mostly live, some prerecorded, always knowing where my comments would be aired.
It’s hard imagining Trump didn’t know he’d be on RT – Russia’s English languish media operation reaching millions of viewers worldwide – reporting real news, information and analysis, what US media scoundrels shun. They’ve had me a number of times, letting me speak as freely and openly as I write.
The neocon Washington Post
said Trump “attack(ed) US foreign policy (and its) political press corps on state-owned Russian television…”
RT isn’t “pro-Kremlin bias(ed),” as WaPo claimed. It’s pro-truth and full disclosure, polar opposite how Western media scoundrels operate – featuring managed news misinformation and Big Lies on issues mattering most, especially major geopolitical ones.
The Wall Street Journal
said Trump “telephoned into (a) program on RT… (the) Kremlin’s propaganda tool.”
headlined “Trump in hot water over Putin embrace…appear(ing) in an interview on a TV network back by Moscow.”
US media are so scandalously corrupted they don’t recognize legitimate journalism when it’s aired or published. They’re preoccupied with exclusively serving wealth, power and privilege, reporting what they want people to know, suppressing what’s most important.
The best way to stay informed is by ignoring corrupted Western media. Rely exclusively on independent sources and others like Russia’s RT
and Sputnik News
– refreshing scoundrel media antidotes.
