Message of Iran’s Supreme Leader to Hajj Pilgrims

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.orgHome – Stephen Lendman)

Islam teaches love, not hate; peace, not violence; charity, not selfishness; and tolerance, not terrorism.

Its five pillars include profession of faith, prayer five times daily, fasting during Ramadan, charity, and performing the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in a lifetime for those able to afford it and physically able.

The Koran is the primary source of Muslim faith and practice. It covers all human concerns, including wisdom, beliefs, worship and law.

It also focuses on the almighty’s relationship with humanity, and provides guidelines for a just society, proper relationships, and just divisions of power.

The Hajj is an annual five-day pilgrimage to Islam’s holiest city and nearby holy sites.

On Monday, Iranian Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei’s message to attendees accused Washington of “incit(ing) the Muslims to fight against each other.”

The Bush/Cheney regime used the state-sponsored 9/11 mother of all false flags to declare all-out war on Islam – an invented enemy after Soviet Russia’s 1991 dissolution.

US aggression in multiple theaters followed Operation Desert Storm against Iraq in 1991, genocidal sanctions on its people, and the rape of Yugoslavia.

Afghanistan and Pakistan (AfPak), Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Yemen were targeted next, using ISIS and likeminded terrorists as imperial foot soldiers, aided by US-led terror-bombing, responsible for millions of casualties, vast destruction, endless violence and chaos, along with appalling human deprivation and misery.

Solidarity and collective prayer during the Hajj stands in stark contrast to US regimes using “Muslims to fight against each other,” said Khamenei (to advance America’s imperium), adding:

“Look at the behavior of the arrogant and criminal US today. Its essential policy against Islam and the Muslims is warmongering.”

“Its desire and vicious efforts aim at killing Muslims by other Muslims: causing some oppressive groups to attack some oppressed ones, supporting the front of the oppressors, suppressing the oppressed front through it, and always fueling this appalling conspiracy…(a) satanic policy.”

Washington bears full responsibility for endless wars of aggression on Islamic countries – deploring peace, stability, equity and justice for all, notions it finds abhorrent.

Muslims at home and abroad are designated enemies of US regimes.

They’re invented to unjustifiably justify Washington’s war on humanity, its rage for global dominance, its aim for dominion over planet earth, its resources, other material wealth and labor.

America is a force for evil, not good; for might, not right; for dominance over, not mutual cooperation with other nations.

It’s humanity’s enemy, the greatest threat to its survival.
