Khashoggi’s Body Parts Found?

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.orgHome – Stephen Lendman)

UK-based Sky News reported the latest twist in the Jamal Khashoggi incident – claiming his body parts were found “cut up,” his face “disfigured” in the garden of the Saudi consul general’s home – located around 500 meters from the consulate.”

It’ll take DNA analysis to prove or disprove the claim – if indeed body parts were found in Istanbul believed to be Khashoggi’s.

On Monday, Turkey’s Vatan party leader Dogu Perincek claimed Khashoggi’s body parts were recovered from a well in the Saudi consul general’s garden, adding Erdogan would explain the news in his Tuesday address. He claimed no knowledge of his body. See below.

One fabricated kingdom version after another followed Khashoggi’s October 2 disappearance, each one intended to shield crown prince Mohammad bin Salman (MBS) and king Salman from responsibility for what happened.

Hours before the Sky News report, Erdogan asked: “Why has the body of someone who was officially said to be killed not been found yet…Where is the body…Why do we still not have the body?

Did one or more anonymous Sky News source(s) know something Turkish intelligence, all over this issue, knows nothing about?

If remains found in the Saudi consul general’s garden are Khashoggi’s, more pressure on ruling family members could follow. All kingdom versions of his disappearance and death will be proved bald-faced lies.

Erdogan on Tuesday shamefully claimed no “doubt about the sincerity of king Salman. He praised “Saudi Arabia (for) tak(ing) an important step by admitting the murder.”

He made no direct or indirect mention of what Sky News reported – saying “well-placed sources within the investigation and within political circles” revealed what the news organization reported above.

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir turned truth on its head, saying mechanisms will be put in place to assure “something like (Khashoggi’s murder) can never happen again.”

It’s longstanding kingdom policy, notably under iron-fisted MBS rule, tolerating no criticism of his actions, imprisoning or killing anyone daring to defy his authority and ruthless way of operating.

Regime viciousness mostly goes on below the radar, Khashoggi’s brutal murder an exception to the rule.

International furor will end once the incident fades from world headlines. What happened to Khashoggi won’t change world community relations with the kingdom – not as long as it’s oil rich, super-wealthy, and allied with Washington’s imperial agenda.
