Ukraine: A US Imperial Dagger Targeting Russia
The US National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2019 includes $250 million in military aid for Ukraine to wage war on its own people, $50 million more than for FY 2018.
Weapons and munitions, along with training by US and UK special forces, are all about waging naked aggression on Ukrainians in Donbass called civil war.
The Trump regime is sending US-installed Kiev putschists $10 million more in military aid, following the November 25 US-orchestrated Kerch Strait provocation – a flagrantly hostile Ukrainian violation of Russian territorial waters, Moscow wrongfully blamed for its unlawful action.
Everything ongoing in Ukraine related to militarism, belligerence, and related provocations is orchestrated and controlled by Washington, likely in cahoots with Britain.
Ruling regimes in both countries are militantly hostile toward Russia – on a path toward WW III I suggested in a previous article.
That’s where things are heading if they continue on their reckless course – the madness of possible nuclear war able to end life on earth if waged.
In mid-December, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova pointedly said “Kiev plans to stage an armed provocation on the line of contact (with Donbass) in order to take advantage of martial law declared particularly in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions and launch a rapid offensive towards Mariupol to seize Azov Sea coastal areas currently controlled by Donetsk and reach the Russian border.”
Thousands of Ukrainian troops are mobilized near the border with Donbass, intermittent shelling ongoing ahead of what Russia believes is an imminent large-scale offensive planned.
On Saturday, Donbass settlements of Donetsky, Kalinovka, Sokolniki and Zhelobok were attacked by Ukrainian mortars, grenade launchers, and other weapons.
The Kremlin believes planned Kiev aggression against Donbass may be an excuse for US-installed puppet Poroshenko to cancel the March presidential election he has no chance to win – belligerence to serve as a convenient diversionary tactic.
Kiev’s so-called national security/war council head Alexander Turchinov said another Kerch Strait provocation may be staged. He urged NATO to get involved, its vessels unlikely to enter Russian waters without permission not forthcoming if it’s clear they’re up to no good.
Last week, 41 bipartisan hardline US senators introduced a resolution – calling for “a prompt multinational freedom of navigation operation in the Black Sea and the cancellation of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline in response to Russia’s recent aggressive actions (sic) in the Kerch Strait and the Sea of Azov.”
At the same time, Britain’s Theresa May regime escalated hostile rhetoric against Russia, falsely calling the Kremlin a threat to UK security – a diversionary tactic, trying to shift attention away from her disastrous no-Brexit/Brexit deal, overwhelmingly opposed by parliamentarians, including around 100 Tories.
US hardline senators also called on EU nations to deny Russian vessels access to their ports. They want more heavy weapons supplied to Ukraine, supporting its aggression against Donbass.
Last Wednesday, Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) President Denis Pushilin warned of coming aggression by Ukrainian forces, including use of “chemical warfare agents…released on the DPR territory,” adding:
“There is evidence that the Americans have already prepared shell fragments smeared with combat poisons to lend credibility to the accusations against the DPR and Russia.”
“I believe that the purpose of the provocation is the unleashing of hostilities in Donbass and the abolition of the presidential elections in Ukraine, in which Poroshenko has no chance of winning.”
What’s planned is orchestrated and controlled by “US and British special services.” Elements like the al-Qaeda-connected White Helmets in Syria intend producing “falsif(ied) video materials” to wrongfully blame Donbass and Russia for what they’re planning to stage.
Separately according to Fort Russ, Ukrainian parliamentarian Vitaly Kupry “presented to the (body) a draft appeal to the country’s president, Pyotr Poroshenko, which contains the request to declare war on Russia.”
It’s titled “Draft decree on the appeal of the Supreme Rada (parliament) of Ukraine to the Ukrainian president regarding the declaration of war, rupture of diplomatic relations, and suppression of communications by means of transport with the Russian Federation.”
Following Ukraine’s made-in-the-USA November 25 Kerch Strait provocation, the Poroshenko regime terminated the 1999 Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership with Russia, effective April 1, 2019.
Moscow slammed the move as a hostile act. Poroshenko may extend martial law in areas bordering Russia beyond yearend. His moves are orchestrated, financed, and supported by Trump regime hardliners and Congress.
Russia wants peace and stability along its border. Hostile actions by the US, its puppet Kiev regime, and Britain leave it no choice but to prepare for war in Donbass or cross-border if erupt.
