Media Slam Trump for Not Taking (Nonexistent) Russian Election Meddling Seriously

The US intelligence community created, establishment media supported Big Lie about Russian US election meddling, no evidence remotely suggests happened, is one of many whoppers that won’t die.
When disinformation, Big Lies, and fake news are repeatedly endlessly, most people believe the rubbish fed them. It works the same way nearly always, especially on headline-making issues.
An August 2018 Gallup poll showed 75% of Americans believe Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election. A scant 16% disagreed, 39% saying meddling (that never occurred) changed the outcome.
Respondents weren’t asked what source(s) support their beliefs. They were only asked whether they followed news (meaning electronic, print and/or social media) about the election very closely, somewhat closely, not too closely, or not at all.
Americans are the most over-entertained, under-informed people globally — despite around 90% of adults having Internet access at home, according to Pew Research.
Staying informed is as simple as spending 30 minutes or less online most days, visiting reliable independent sources of news, opinion and analysis, what minimal due diligence can discover and stick with — ignoring rubbish put out by establishment media.
Via Twitter, the NYT admitted that it cleared a report about escalated US cyberattacks on Russia’s power grid with US government sources before publishing it.
How many other times did it do the same thing. The self-styled newspaper of record and virtually all other establishment media operate as press agents for wealth, power and privilege — notably serving as imperial mouthpieces when the US goes to war or plans one.
Big lies repeated enough drown out hard truths, especially when major media don’t refute them, sticking to the official narrative, abandoning journalism the same it’s supposed to be.
No evidence suggests the Russian Federation interfered in the political process of the US or any other countries — what Washington did and continues doing scores of times in the post-WW II era, wanting client states everywhere, targeting democratic governments for elimination.
House and Senate Intelligence Committee probes found no evidence of Russian US election meddling.
House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes earlier said:
“After more than a year, the committee has finished its Russia investigation and will now work on completing our report.”
“We’re dealing in facts, and we found no evidence of collusion.” Senate findings were similar.
US intelligence community (the DNI, CIA and FBI) claims otherwise presented no evidence backing them because none exists.
Ahead of Trump’s meeting with Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Osaka, Japan G20 summit, DJT was asked if he’d tell his counterpart not to interfere in the 2020 US presidential election.
“Don’t meddle in the election, president,” Trump responded. Wagging his finger at Putin, he repeated: “Don’t meddle in the election.”
Undemocratic Dems and establishment media slammed him for making light of the issue — despite knowing no evidence of Russian meddling exists.
The NYT is especially hostile toward Trump for triumphing over media darling Hillary, saying:
“(M)aking light of the matter… with a slight grin on his face and an almost joking tone in his voice,” Trump said: “Don’t meddle in the election, President,” repeating the remark a second time, adding:
“(O)nce again, he refused to publicly cross Mr. Putin with so much as a word of disagreement, much less reproach.”
The criticism continued, saying Trump remarked that “(i)t’s a great honor to be with President Putin. We’ve had great meetings.”
“We have had a very, very good relationship. And we look forward to spending some pretty good time together. A lot of very positive things going to come out of the relationship.”
The Times: “The written summary of the leaders’ meeting issued by the White House indicated, without elaborating, that they had talked about that as well as Iran, Syria, Venezuela and Ukraine. The summary made no mention of election interference.”
Why should it when none occurred. Separately, Putin told the Financial Times, referring to nonexistent Russian US election meddling:
“What happened in reality? Mr. Trump looked into his opponents’ attitude to him and saw changes in American society, and he took advantage of this.”

Al Jazeera: “Trump tells Putin ‘don’t meddle’ in US elections”
Whatever the outcome of the US November 2020 presidential election, Russia will surely be accused of meddling.
No doubt about it if Trump wins a second term. Even if defeated by a Dem candidate, Russophobic US media will likely claim Kremlin interference that failed.
What’s disturbing is that most Americans believe what no evidence suggests is true.
