Jeffrey Epstein’s Death: Murder or Suicide?

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.orgHome – Stephen Lendman)

Circumstances surrounding his death raise obvious red flags. Key questions remain unanswered.

Did Epstein take his own life as widely reported by major media, or was he silenced to hide connections to high-level US and international figures involved in sex with and trafficking of young girls below the age of consent?

According to the FindLaw, statutory rape involves sexual relations with “someone below the age of consent.”

In nearly all US states, it’s age-18. With parental consent, it can be younger. In California, there’s no minimum age for a couple to marry.

Epstein was an accused pedophile/sex trafficker, in 2008 a convicted sex offender.

His death avoids a potential trial of the century that could reveal damaging information about countless numbers of high-profile political, business, royal, and other notable figures involved in sex with underage girls.

He may have threatened exposure if brought to trial, wanting it avoided, hoping to get off lightly as in 2008.

Lots of people in high places likely wanted him silenced — to prevent potentially damaging information coming out at trial, if held.

Reportedly he had volumes of information about notable figures he arranged to have sex with underage girls, leaving them vulnerable to potential statutory rape and sex trafficking charges, at minimum having their reputations greatly damaged.

Even though legal maneuvers would likely keep much sordid information from coming out at trial, fearing it is reason enough for wanting him silenced — no trial, no public revelations.

If murdered, the question is who eliminated him or ordered him killed, and how was it arranged?

According to MSNBC propagandist Joe Scarborough: “A guy who had information that would have destroyed rich and powerful men’s lives end up dead in his jail cell. How predictably…Russian.”

How predictably a CIA, mafia, or other hitman is more likely.

Because he was found semi-conscious in his New York Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) cell last month, he was placed on suicide watch — meaning close scrutiny round-the-clock monitoring, including regular guard inspections.

Reportedly in late July, he was taken off suicide watch, placed in a special housing unit with no cellmate and under-monitored, proper procedures not followed.

Details of his death were posted on 4Chan less than 40 minutes before the news was reported.

On August 10, the New York Post spoke to a former MCC special housing inmate, his identity not revealed for his safety, saying the following:

“There’s no way that man could have killed himself. I’ve done too much time in those units. It’s an impossibility.

Between the floor and the ceiling is like 8 or 9 feet. There’s no way for you to connect to anything.

You have sheets, but they’re paper level, not strong enough. He was 200 pounds. It would never happen.

When you’re on suicide watch, they put you in this white smock, a straitjacket. They know a person cannot be injurious to themselves.

The clothing they give you is a jump-in uniform. Everything is a dark brown color.

Could he have done it from the bed? No sir. There’s a steel frame, but you can’t move it. There’s no light fixture. There’s no bars.

They don’t give you enough in there that could successfully create an instrument of death. You want to write a letter, they give you rubber pens and maybe once a week a piece of paper.

Nothing hard or made of metal.

(I)t’s my firm belief that Jeffrey Epstein did not commit suicide. It just didn’t happen.”

On August 11, an autopsy was performed, no cause of death revealed.

The widely reported presumption of suicide flies in the face of motive by powerful individuals wanting him silenced.
