Foreign Threats to US November Election? The Big Lie That Won’t Die
Indisputable evidence long ago revealed that the US interferes in the internal affairs of virtually all other countries, including their elections.
Its dark forces want subservient regimes in power, independent ones targeted for elimination by color revolutions, old-fashioned coups, assassinations or imperial wars.
Throughout the post-WW II period, the US successfully and unsuccessfully targeted scores of nations for regime change.
It terror-bombed more than 30 countries that posed no threat to the US or any other nations.
Time and again, CIA hitmen assassinated or attempted to assassinate foreign leaders.
A previous article cited political scientist Dov Levin.
He explained that from end of WW II to 2000, the US unlawfully meddled in over 80 foreign elections.
Since then, its dark forces illegally aimed to influence the outcome of elections or the political process overall in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Yemen, Egypt, Tunisia, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Mexico, Belarus, and elsewhere.
Meddling illegally in the internal affairs of the world community of nations and other breaches of international, constitutional, and its own statute laws is longstanding US practice — how the scourge of imperialism operates.
No credible evidence ever showed foreign interference in the US electoral process.
Claims otherwise were and remain bald-faced Big Lies. When repeated ad nauseam by establishment media, most people believe the Big Lie that won’t die.
What could a foreign nation hope to achieve by meddling in so-called US elections.
Farcical when held, their outcomes are always the same — how one-party rule with two right wings operates.
On July 24, US National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC) director William Evanina issued the following disinformation statement, falsely claiming “foreign threats to the 2020 election” that don’t exist, adding:
“(F)oreign states will continue to use covert and overt influence measures in their attempts to sway US voters’ preferences and perspectives, shift US policies, increase discord in the United States, and undermine the American people’s confidence in our democratic process (sic).”
“They may also seek to compromise our election infrastructure for a range of possible purposes, such as interfering with the voting process, stealing sensitive data, or calling into question the validity of the election results (sic).”
Evanina admitted that foreign elements would be unable “to interfere with or manipulate voting results at scale.”
Whether foreign governments prefer a Dem or GOP candidate is irrelevant, he failed to explain.
Both wings of the one-party state are two sides of the same coin on major issues mattering most.
Evanina’s statement was an exercise in misinformation, disinformation, fake news, and mass deception — a longstanding US speciality.
He falsely expressed concern about “potential activity by China, Russia, and Iran” that doesn’t exist nor will it in the run-up to November elections and their aftermath — what never occurred before, claims otherwise fabricated.
According to Evanina, China prefers Biden over Trump.
He falsely accused Beijing of “expanding its influence efforts ahead of November 2020 to shape the policy environment in the United States, pressure political figures it views as opposed to China’s interests, and deflect and counter criticism of China (sic).”
No evidence was cited to support the above accusation because there is none.
He falsely equated China’s responses to hostile Trump regime actions against the country as a way to influence November’s outcome.
If US pollsters surveyed Americans on their knowledge of statements by Chinese officials that relate to hostile Trump regime actions against the country, results would likely show profound public ignorance.
Evanina next addressed a nonexistent Russian threat, falsely accusing the Kremlin of “measures to…denigrate…Biden and what it sees as an anti-Russia establishment (sic),” adding:
“Kremlin-linked actors are also seeking to boost…Trump’s candidacy on social media and Russian television (sic).”
Since he took office, bilateral relations sank to the depths of US Cold War hostility toward Soviet Russia.
Illegal sanctions were imposed on Russian nationals and enterprises, falsely accusing them of “malign activity around the globe,” no evidence cited like always before following phony US actions against all nations on its target list for regime change.
The Trump regime and Congress have gone all-out to undermine completion of Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline, including by threatened sanctions on companies involved in its construction, nations involved, as well as underwriting, insurance and reinsurance companies.
Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA), signed into law by Trump in August 2017, requires White House sanctions on Russia, Iran and North Korea
Other provisions of the measure are hostile to these countries — despite no threat they pose to US national security, just invented ones to justify what’s unjustifiable and illegal.
US policies toward these countries and others on its target list for regime change, notably China, are much the same no matter which wing of the one-party state controls the White House and/or Congress.
Evanina falsely accused Iran of “seek(ing) to undermine US democratic institutions (sic).”
The Islamic Republic is the Middle East’s leading proponent of peace, stability, and cooperative relations with other nations — polar opposite how the US operates worldwide, waging war on humanity in pursuit of unchallenged global dominance.
No nations threaten US security. No “democratic institutions” exist in the country to undermine.
Not a shred of evidence suggests that China, Russia, Iran, or any other countries threaten the US electoral process or the nation in any other way.
Claims by Evanina were willfully falsified, what’s clear to everyone paying attention.
A Final Comment
US establishment media repeated Evanina’s disinformation, including the self-styled newspaper of record NYT.
Headlining “Russia Continues Interfering in Election to Try to Help Trump, US Intelligence Says,” the Times added:
“(O)fficials briefed on the intelligence said that Russia was the far graver, and more immediate, threat (sic).”
Instead of debunking fake news, the Times repeated it, the same true for other establishment media.
