France and Sweden Join the US-Supported Anti-Russia German Novichok Hoax

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.orgHome – Stephen Lendman)

Whatever happened to CIA/NED supported Putin critic Alexey Navanly wasn’t from a deadly novichok nerve agent able to kill in minutes from exposure.

Claims by Germany otherwise were fabricated. The same goes for France and Sweden.

So-called lab analyses in these countries claim Navalny was novichoked.

The pro-Western imperial tool OPCW took samples from Navalny to initiate its own go-along analysis, virtually certain to reach the same conclusion.

A German government statement said its “federal government involved the OPCW in the analysis of evidence from the Navalny case.”

“The OPCW took samples from Navalny and took the necessary steps to study them in its laboratories.”

“The federal government has also asked its European partners France and Sweden to conduct an independent study.”

The results of these tests are now available and confirm the German evidence (sic).”

“Independent of the ongoing OPCW investigations, three laboratories have now independently demonstrated the presence of a nerve agent from the novichok group as the cause of Mr. Navalny’s poisoning (sic).”

“We again call on Russia to explain what happened. We are in close contact with our European partners regarding further steps.”

On September 14, Sergey Lavrov stressed that without evidence of a crime against Navalny, an investigation into his illness is unwarranted. No legal grounds exist to initiate one.

On the same day, Putin told France’s Macron that Russia needs proof of a criminal act, not forthcoming so far from Germany, to order a criminal investigation.

A statement from Macron’s office said he “expressed deep concern over the criminal act perpetrated against Alexey Navalny (sic) and the imperative that all light be shed, without delay, on the circumstances and responsibilities of this attempted assassination (sic).”

Omitted from remarks by German, other European, and US officials is that no evidence of a crime was presented.

With it, accusations are baseless. Berlin has much to answer for, not Moscow. The same now goes for Paris and Stockholm.

Putin stressed that baseless accusations of Russian responsibility for Navalny’s condition are unjustified.

According to a Kremlin press release, “(t)he two sides agreed to work on determining parameters of possible interaction with European partners on this.”

It’s unclear what samples Germany sent to France, Sweden and the OPCW.

It’s quite clear that they’re unrelated to Navalny’s illness.

As previously explained, if he was exposed to novichok in Tomsk, Russia, the world’s deadliest known substance, he’d have died before boarding a flight to Moscow.

Awakened from his medically induced coma, able to communicate, reports on Monday said he’s partly ambulatory, a Berlin Charite hospital statement, saying:

He’s “undergoing mobilization and is able to leave his bed for short periods of time.”

Separately, Lavrov cancelled his trip to Berlin for talks with German officials following a change of schedule by his German counterpart.

Angela Merkel’s government continues to stonewall Russia’s request for evidence to back its accusations — because there is none.

Moscow is doing its own due diligence. It wants the issue resolved with no harm to bilateral relations, notably not over Navalny’s condition no evidence connects to Russia.

According to Tass, “Germany claimed that it handed over Navalny’s test results to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).”

Russia’s “mission at the organization reported that the officials’ claims regarding sending materials to the OPCW do not correspond to reality.”

Navalny’s illness was likely from a metabolic disorder as diagnosed by Russian toxicologists who treated him for two days in Omsk.

Phony claims otherwise by Germany, France and Sweden are all about unjustifiable Russia bashing.

The great novichok poisoning of Navalny accusation is a colossal hoax. No evidence supports the phony claim.
