Navalny Incident the Latest Phony Anti-Russia Accusation
Since before and after the Obama regime’s 2014 coup d’etat in Ukraine — transforming the country into a fascist dictatorship in Europe’s heartland — Russia has been charged with all sorts of things no proof suggests it had anything to do with.
Before falsely blaming Russia for what happened to Alexey Navalny’s, there was the following:
Fake news of Russian aggression in Ukraine.
Falsely accusing Moscow of involvement in downing Malaysian Airlines Flight 17.
US election meddling no evidence proved ever occurred by any foreign nation.
It’s what US dark forces do repeatedly worldwide, along with staging color revolutions, old-fashioned coups, political assassinations, other dirty tricks, and endless preemptive wars on invented enemies.
Fake news claims that Russia illegally meddled in the affairs of at least 27 European and North American countries during the new millennium.
The so-called pro-Western/anti-Russia Alliance for Securing Democracy (sic) of the German Marshall Fund claimed the above without providing a shred of proof backing it because there is none.
Falsely accusing Russia of annexing Crimea.
The Big Lie about Kremlin novichok poisoning of Sergey and Yulia Skripal.
Falsely claiming Russia threatens America’s power grid.
The Big Lie accusation of Russia paying bounties to Taliban fighters to kill US troops in Afghanistan.
And phony claims of “Russian aggression” repeated time and again — a longstanding US, NATO, Israeli specialty, not how Moscow operates anywhere.
In stark contrast to how Russia fosters cooperative relations with other nations worldwide, threatening none, confrontation with none, the late Nobel laureate Harold Pinter described how the US operates on the world stage — saying its ultimatum to other countries is “(k)iss my arse or I’ll kick your head in,” adding:
Washington “doesn’t give a damn about the UN, international law or critical dissent, which it regards as impotent and irrelevant.”
Both right wings of the US war party operate the same way, each a replica of the other on major issues mattering most — notably US hegemonic aims and corporate empowerment over the general welfare neither party gives a hoot about and it shows by their policies.
No corroborating proof is ever presented to show that accusations against Russia are credible.
So far, Germany is stonewalling Moscow, failing to prove Alexey Navalny was poisoned by a novichok nerve agent as it claimed.
On Friday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said the following:
“(W)e asked our counterparts in the European Union and in Germany once again if German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has been accusing us of this wrongdoing, of this alleged poisoning, for two days now, but is still unable to present any proof, if she has any plans to give instructions to her subordinates to see to it that there is a reply from the German Ministry of Justice to the Prosecutor General’s query,” adding:
“Now I am forced to say out loud that according to our sources this reply is being delayed due to the Foreign Ministry’s stance.”
“We have instructed our ambassador to ask corresponding questions and to inquire into what is behind the delay.”
“We’ve been promised today that an answer will follow shortly.”
“When there is a reply containing concrete facts, which, as far as I understand, the Germans believe will be there, then we will react to it.”
Clearly, Russia potentially has much to lose, nothing to gain from what happened to Navalny.
Lavrov noted what he called “suspicious haste” finger-pointing against Russia by the West.
Even Trump on Friday said he doesn’t “know exactly what happened” to Navalny, adding:
“We haven’t had any proof” about poisoning with novichok claims.
On the one hand saying “(w)e have not seen (proof) ourselves,” he indicated no reason to doubt German claims.
Unanswered is how German toxicologists claimed to find novichok traces in Navalny’s blood, urine and skin when comparable tests and analysis by their Russian counterparts found no toxins in his system.
Yet Angela Merkel said novichok traces were “identified unequivocally (sic),” calling Navalny’s illness “attempted murder (sic)” — despite no evidence proving it, nothing suggesting Russian responsibility for what happened.
NATO spokesman Piers Cazelet turned truth on its head, saying:
“Time and again we have seen (Putin) critics attacked and threatened (sic).”
So far, no evidence of a crime exists.
Russia is a convenient punching bag, mainly by the US, pressuring and bullying its Western partners to go along with its hostile actions and war of words on the Kremlin.
For now, Navalny’s illness remains headline news, Russia conveniently blamed like many times before for things it had nothing to do with.
When Western-instigated/media supported hysteria over the incident fades, US dark forces no doubt will cook up something else to falsely blame Russia for, and as always before, providing no evidence proving accusations made.
Whenever finger-pointing is unsupported by credible facts, it’s baseless.
