Svetlana Tikhanovskaya a Belarusian Guaido
In January 2019, US-designated puppet/usurper-in-waiting Guaido self-declared himself interim Venezuelan president.
The Trump regime called for “begin(ning) the orderly transition to a new government” — from social democracy to US-controlled fascist tyranny it failed to explain.
The NYT and other establishment media straightaway endorsed a figure with no legitimacy.
The pattern is repeating in Belarus. The Trump regime seeks to elevate political nobody/US designated puppet Svetlana Tikhanovskaya to power.
A made-in-the-USA coup plot aims to oust legitimately reelected President Lukashenko — to be replaced by Washington’s puppet in Minsk.
Days earlier, the State Department said “(t)he path forward should be a national dialogue leading to the Belarusian people enjoying their right to choose their leaders in a free and fair election under independent observation (sic).”
The US and EU imposed sanctions on Belarusian officials that are null and void under international law.
The US-dominated West unofficially considers Tsikhanouskaya Belarus’ president — ignoring Lukashenko’s legitimate reelection by a near-62% – 25% margin.
He won overwhelmingly. She lost decisively. That should settle things. Never when US dark forces have other aims.
Time and again when candidates opposed by the US are elected to high office, its intelligence community targets them for regime change.
In late September, interventionist French President Macron said “Lukashenko must go (sic).”
Under the UN Charter and other international law, intervening in the internal affairs of other nations is strictly prohibited — what US-dominated NATO does repeatedly, what’s happening now in Belarus.
Last month, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stressed that Belarusians alone should chose their ruling authorities with no foreign interference.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry slammed Western states for unlawfully trying to “delegitimize the (legitimate Belarusian) government.”
Last month, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova slammed the West for “attempt(ing) to influence the situation in” Belarus.
Denouncing their “illegitimate unilateral sanctions,” she stressed that foreign interventionism in the country “contradicts the principle of non-interference in domestic affairs of sovereign states set out in the Helsinki (Final) Act,” along with the UN Charter.
On Friday, she stressed that Moscow considers Western interventionism “unacceptable pressure on the Belarusian authorities, who are making efforts to normalize the situation inside the country.”
On Tuesday, Germany’s Angela Merkel will meet with Tikhanovskaya in Berlin.
She said the following over the weekend:
“We will discuss ways to put pressure on Belarus” — reciting lines scripted by her US handlers, adding:
“The Belarusian people already consider Lukashenko to be illegitimate (sic).”
“When we say negotiations with the government, we are talking about people lower down.”
“Some people should take responsibility and start these negotiations to find a way out of the crisis.”
All Tikhanovskaya’s public remarks are pre-scripted. Crisis conditions since Lukashenko’s reelection were made-in-the-USA.
The same goes for street protests. The pattern repeats in one country after another targeted by the US for regime change — nothing spontaneous about them.
Last week, Macron and Polish prime minister Morawiecki met with Tikhanovskaya in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Later this week, she’ll address attendees at a Bratislava, Slovakia conference.
Made-in-the-USA protests continued over the weekend — mainly in Minsk, smaller ones in other Belarusian cities.
Vladimir Putin expressed support for Lukashenko.
The Union State alliance of both countries largely defeated Washington’s plot to transform Belarus into a US vassal state.
Protests will likely continue, eventually fading for failing to achieve US imperial aims.
