Western Media Propaganda Over Truth-Telling Journalism
Followers of Western establishment media are consistently lied to on major domestic and geopolitical issues mattering most.
They’re fed a daily diet of misinformation, disinformation, fake news and Big Lies — over truth and full disclosure, how journalism the way it should be operates.
It’s unavailable in the West except through independent media, mostly online.
Following reliable sources is the only way to be informed.
The alternative is mind-manipulating brainwashing.
So-called RadioFreeEurope/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) is part of Washington’s global propaganda operation.
Its reports exclusively feature state-approved rubbish, notably about sovereign nations unwilling to sell their souls to Washington at the expense of their interests and populations.
On October 4, RFE/RL falsely accused Russia of “military creep in Belarus” — a US specialty worldwide, its growing empire of bases operating in most nations, CIA dark forces infesting them all.
In late August, Vladimir Putin pledged support to protect Belarusian security.
Belarus and Russia are Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states.
They pledge military support in case a CSTO nation is threatened or invaded by foreign forces.
At Lukashenko’s request, Putin agreed to help Belarus, saying the following:
“Mr Lukashenko has asked me to form a backup law enforcement unit, and I have done so.”
“However, we also agreed that it won’t be used unless the situation gets out of control” — notably caused by externally orchestrated violence similar to US orchestrated 2013-14 events in Kiev.
Putin hopes what’s going on internally can be resolved by Belarusians on their own so “there never will be (a reason) to use Russian forces in” the country.
He created law enforcement reserves according to Russia’s CSTO obligation to help a member state if threatened by foreign elements.
He criticized Western and Eastern European countries for meddling in Belarus’ internal affairs.
None of the above is explained in RFE/RL’s latest propaganda piece on Belarus.
Defying reality, it reported the following rubbish:
“Russia’s support (for) Lukashenko may come at a price that could alter the balance of power in Europe as the Kremlin flexes its military might on the eastern fringes of NATO and exacts concessions from” him (sic),” adding:
He “fac(es) international isolation since declaring himself the winner of a disputed August 9 election and brutally cracking down on protests and rounding up opposition leaders (sic).”
There’s no disputing his overwhelming August 9 triumph.
After several days of harsh crackdowns against made-in-the-USA protests, Belarusian security forces have been largely restrained — polar opposite episodes of violence and vandalism by US-recruited hooligans.
In stark contrast to US rage for endless wars by hot and other means, along with coup plots against governments not submissive to its will, Russia prioritizes peace, stability, and cooperative relations with other countries.
Instead of explaining reality, RFE/RL ignores it.
Claiming Russia seeks a “stronger…military presence in Belarus” ignored bilateral relations between both countries that prioritize strong political and economic ties.
Russia’s support for Belarusian sovereignty reflects the interests of both countries.
It clearly has nothing to do with “alter(ing) the security situation (in) Central Europe.”
Military interventionism is what the US, NATO, and Israel do repeatedly, not now Russia operates.
RFE/RL’s claims otherwise are part of longstanding anti-Russia propaganda by Washington and go-along Western media.
RFE/RL falsely called US-dominated NATO policy “strictly (for) defense.”
Ignored were forever wars by the imperial alliance that are all about US-sought dominance over other nations worldwide by whatever it takes to achieve its objectives.
