NYT Accuses Russia of US Crimes
by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org – Home – Stephen Lendman)
In cahoots with US dark forces, the Times and other establishment media falsely accuse nations free from their control of all sorts of things they had nothing to do with.
Along with numerous other fabricated accusations against Russia, the Times invented a new one, saying:
“The Kremlin has constructed an entire infrastructure of repression (by) turning to outright intimidation (sic).”
In sharp contrast to increasing war on dissent in the US, wanting challenges to the official falsified narrative silenced, speech, media and academic freedoms are unimpeded in Russia.
Not according to state-approved Times propaganda, claiming:
“(T)he Kremlin fears an open internet shaped by American companies (sic).”
Russia opposes conventional and social media censorship. So should everyone.
No “Russia(n) winter of discontent (was) set off by” political nobody/convicted felon Navalny’s return from Germany in mid-January.
No state control of Russian “television airwaves,” as Times propaganda falsely claimed.
No “secret (Vladimir Putin) palace.”
Unlike growing censorship in the US and West, including online by social media in cahoots with US dark forces, no “technological and legal infrastructure (was) put in place (by Moscow) to clamp down on freedom of speech online…”
Russophobic propaganda by the Times is built on a platform of Big Lies and mass deception.
The same policy defines its misreporting across the board on major domestic and geopolitical issues.
“(S)tate repression” is how the US and West operate, not Moscow.
Russian democracy under Vladimir Putin shames fantasy versions in the US and other Western countries.
Not according to the Times, falsely accusing him of rigged elections and crackdowns on free expression — how the US and West operate, not Russia.
Weeks earlier “domestic unrest” in Russian cities was made in the USA, Britain complicit with what happened — part of their endless war on the Russian Federation by other means.
Both countries and other Western ones flagrantly interfere in the internal affairs of other nations, a breach of the UN Charter and other international law.
On all things corruption, the US far and away is the world’s leading offender.
The same is true for its endless war on humanity at home and abroad —all of the above supported by the Times and other Big Media.
The Times is obsessed with bashing Russia and other nations free from US control.
It never met a sovereign independent country it didn’t want transformed into a pro-Western vassal state.
Russia is a prime target because Vladimir Putin won’t sacrifice its sovereign rights to US interests.
The evil empire is based in Washington, not Moscow, Beijing, Tehran or elsewhere.
The Times long ago abandoned what journalism is supposed to be.
Times presstitutes are handed Pulitzer Prizes for misinformation, disinformation, fake news and Big Lies — including for Russia bashing.
They’re a civilian equivalent of combat awards to US military personnel for war crimes.
In the US and West, Big Lies and mass deception are rewarded, truth-telling suppressed and punished.
When the above becomes standard practice, free and open societies no longer exist.
That’s the disturbing reality in America and elsewhere in the West.
Instead of exposing and denouncing what’s going on, the Times and other Big Media cheerlead it.
