Nonbelligerent China Top US Threat?

Nonbelligerent China Top US Threat?

by Stephen Lendman ( – Home – Stephen Lendman)

Nonbelligerent China is outsmarting, out-growing, outwitting, and out-maneuvering the US on the world stage.

While Beijing gains allies by working cooperatively with other countries, the US is declining because its unwilling to cease trying to dominate the world community of nations by pressure, bullying, bribing, or bludgeoning them into bending to its will.

A new US DNI report turned reality on its head about China.

It’s part of Washington’s war on the country by other means that risks turning hot by overstepping and getting a long overdue sharp response that delivers a taste of its own medicine.

No struggle by Beijing to achieve an “epochal geopolitical shift” exists.

Nor do its ruling authorities seek to dominate the Indo/Pacific militarily the way hegemon USA operates worldwide.

The DNI falsely claimed that “Beijing is increasingly combining its growing military power with its economic, technological and diplomatic clout to…secure what it views as its territory and regional preeminence and pursue international cooperation at Washington’s expense (sic).”

There’s no Chinese “push for global power,” no “provocative actions,” no growing use “of air, naval and maritime law enforcement platforms” to control other nations, their resources and populations like hegemon USA operates.

China’s geopolitical agenda has nothing to do with “efforts to…undercut that of the United States, drive wedges between Washington and its allies and partners, and foster new international norms that favor (its) system” over other world community nations.

Beijing prioritizes peace, stability, cooperation with other nations, and compliance with international law.

In stark contrast, both right wings of the US war party operate exclusively by their own rules — endless wars by hot and/or other means their favored strategies.

Biden regime DNI Avril Haines operates like her predecessor toward China and other countries free from US control.

Last December, Trump’s DNI John Ratcliffe invented his own fabricated reality by claiming that China “poses the greatest threat to America today (sic), and the greatest threat to democracy and freedom worldwide since World War II (sic).

Far and away, that dubious distinction applies to undemocratic USA and its colonized partners in high crimes of war and against humanity.

Unilateralism no longer works in today’s multi-polar world.

China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi stressed that Beijing will only engage with the US as an equal.

Its ruling authorities won’t tolerate the notion of bending to its hegemonic will — nor should other countries.

China, Russia, Iran, and other countries free from US control respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of other nations — polar opposite US rage to dominate them by brute force and other dirty tricks.

On all things China and most other countries, Biden regime hardliners continue Trump’s maximum pressure on nations free from US control with a major difference.

During his time in office, Trump continued ongoing wars he inherited but launched no new ones.

In sharp contrast, Biden regime hardliners are pushing the envelope for possible war in Europe’s heartland, the Indo/Pacific, and perhaps the Middle East.

Their recklessness risks global war if their belligerence crosses a rubicon of no return — what’s frighteningly possible.
