Establishment media invent reasons to bash Putin.
No legitimate ones exist so phony ones are used.
They despise how his stature towers over his Western lessers.
Commenting on his annual address to Russian lawmakers, members of his government, other officials, the nation, and journalists covering the event, the Russophobic NYT called his straight talk candor “tough talk.”
Ignoring US-orchestrated Kiev aggression on Donbass, Times editors falsely claimed that Russian forces in their own territory near Ukraine’s border — threatening no one — are “a lethal buildup (sic).”
They resurrected fake news about the false flag downing of Malaysian Airlines MH17 in Ukrainian airspace neither Russia or Donbass freedom fighters had anything to do with.
They lied about political nobody Navalny’s health.
In mentioning Belarusian President Lukashenko, they ignored the Biden regime’s plan to assassinate him.
Foiled by Russian and Minsk internal security forces, the scheme was part of the US’ failed color revolution plot to transform Belarus into a US client state.
They lied about Putin’s public approval, calling it “sagging” despite support from nearly two-thirds of Russians, based on polling data.
They falsely accused him of “pressur(ing)” Ukrainian puppet president Zelensky.
Further reinvention of reality followed.
Most often when Russia is discussed by the Times and other Western media, long ago debunked Big Lies that won’t die resurface.
The Times never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity to report accurately on virtually all issues of importance — featuring its customary fake news instead.
WaPo misreporting was similar, notably by falsely blaming Russia and Donbass freedom fighters for US-orchestrated aggression by Ukrainian imperial proxies.
It repeated Big Lies about imprisoned embezzler Navalny.
Supporting lawless US sanctions on Russia and other targeted nations, it criticized Putin for denouncing “unlawful, politically motivated economic sanctions and crude attempts to enforce its will on others,” adding:
“Russia has its own interests, which we will defend in line with the international law.”
“If somebody refuses to understand this obvious thing, is reluctant to conduct a dialogue and chooses a selfish and arrogant tone, Russia will always find a way to defend its position.”
Along with other misreporting, WaPo reinvented the Obama/Biden regime’s color revolution that replaced democratic rule in Ukraine with Nazi-infested fascist tyranny in 2014 — calling what happened the result of “popular protests” that created a hostile-to-Russia US client state on its border.
The Wall Street Journal accused Putin of “taking a harder line” against real US-dominated Western adversaries, not imagined ones.
On Russian forces in their own territory near Ukraine’s border threatening no one, the Journal called it a “military buildup” at a time of “mounting cease-fire violations and increasingly heated rhetoric between Moscow and Kiev…”
Suggesting Russian responsibility for what’s going on ignored US-orchestrated aggression by Ukraine against nonbelligerent Donbass.
No Russian invasion or other threat to Ukraine exists, no threat to other countries.
Bullying, threats, and smashing other nations is how the US and its imperial partners operate.
If the world community of nations operated like Russia, peace, stability, cooperative relations, and compliance with the rule of law would break out all over.
Instead “the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind” may happen a third time because of US rage to dominate other nations worldwide by whatever it takes to achieve its diabolical aims.
