Biden: Massacring Gazans No “Overreaction”
Palestinian lives, well-being and rights don’t matter throughout the Occupied Territories, according to dominant hardliners in Israel, the US and West.
The same goes for ordinary people in the US and most of Europe — exploited and abused, not served by their ruling authorities.
Throughout its 73-year history, the world community did nothing to hold culpable Israeli regimes accountable for Nuremberg-level high crimes — nothing to protect and uphold the rights of long-suffering Palestinians.
Everyday is Kristallnacht in the Occupied Territories.
Institutionalized racism enforces state terror.
Fear is constant, collective punishment is official Israel policy — justifiable resistance for long-denied justice and self-defense considered terrorism.
Peaceful demonstrations are violently assaulted — free expression, movement, and assembly banned.
Population centers are isolated, borders closed, normal daily life denied for greater control.
Economic strangulation enforces impoverishment, deprivation and human misery.
Slow-motion genocide exacts an unrelenting toll.
Fundamental civil and human rights are consistently denied in breach of international law.
Palestinians neighborhoods are terrorized by incursions, bulldozed homes, separation walls, checkpoints, ethnic cleansing, targeted assassinations, mass arrests, kidnappings, gulag imprisonment, torture, judicial unfairness, and other forms of mistreatment.
Fishermen are attacked at sea, their boats confiscated or destroyed.
Farmers in their fields are terrorized by security forces and extremist settlers — their crops and orchards destroyed, their homes and other property vandalized.
Women and children are mistreated as viciously as men.
Israeli soldiers along Gaza’s border shoot children for target practice.
Crimes against Palestinians are committed with impunity, accountability almost never forthcoming — notably not for crimes of war and against humanity.
Israeli security forces are permitted to kill.
Throughout the Occupied Territories, Palestinian cities, towns, villages and communities are virtual state-authorized free-fire zones.
Apartheid is official Israeli policy, how it’s been from inception.
According to B’Tselem, “(a) regime of Jewish supremacy (exists) from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea” — Palestinians mistreated as untermenschen sub-humans.
Democracy is a figure of speech, not reality, in Israel, the Occupied Territories, and throughout the West.
Israeli regimes exert total control over Palestinians, subjugating them brutally.
Basic Law affirms Israel as the Nation State of the Jewish people exclusively — non-Jews discriminated against in most all aspects of their lives.
Military occupation turned the Territories into an armed camp.
Besieged Gaza is the world’s largest open-air prison.
Longstanding Israeli policy calls for Judaizing all valued parts of historic Palestine for exclusive Jewish use.
According to the Adalah Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel, Israel’s Basic Law — the equivalent of the US Constitution — “falls within the bounds of absolute prohibitions under international law and is therefore illegitimate as a colonial law with characteristics of apartheid.”
According to Adalah’s general director Hassan Jabareen, Israel’s Nation-State law “is illegitimate,” adding:
“(I)t establishes a colonial regime with distinct apartheid characteristics in that it seeks to maintain a regime in which one ethnic-national group controls an indigenous-national group living in the same territory while advancing ethnic superiority by promoting racist policies in the most basic aspects of life.”
In 2008, South African activists, including ANC members, visited Israel and Occupied Palestine.
Their conclusion was unanimous. Israeli apartheid is worse than what existed in South Africa.
South African archbishop of Cape Town Desmond Tutu earlier said the following after visiting the Occupied Territories, and witnessing what Palestinians endure firsthand.
He described “the humiliation of the Palestinians at checkpoints and roadblocks, suffering like us when young white police officers prevented us from moving about,” adding:
Israel’s system “is more ruthless than that seen in South Africa.”
Former Israeli attorney general Michael Ben-Yair said after the June 1967 Six Day War:
“We enthusiastically chose to become a colonial society, ignoring international treaties, expropriating lands, transferring settlers from Israel to the occupied territories, engaging in theft and finding justification for all these activities.”
“Passionately desiring to keep the occupied territories, we developed two judicial systems…”
“(W)e established an apartheid regime in the occupied territories immediately following their capture.”
Too few honest Israelis admit it, far fewer, if any, its crimes of war and against humanity for the past 73 years.
According to US media propaganda reports, Biden urged “de-escalation” in Gaza — a head-fake deception remark.
Throughout his near-half century in public office, he fully supported the worst of Israeli high crimes — while falsely blaming Palestinians for Jewish state crimes committed against them.
There’s nothing remotely fair, balanced, or lawful about Washington’s Middle East policy throughout the post-WW II period.
The same goes for its global agenda.
Israel is an extension of its war on humanity for unchallenged global control.
Hamas and all Palestinians are victims of US-supported Israeli aggression.
At this time, there’s no end of it in prospect.
Will Netanyahu order IDF forces to invade Gaza in the coming days, what he hasn’t done so far?
If it’s his best chance to retain power, bet on it.
Otherwise, daily blitzkrieg terror-bombing and cross-border shelling alone will likely continue until he and Israeli commanders satisfied their bloodlust.
