Russian Foreign Ministry on Belarus, Syria, Britain and Ukraine
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova (MZ below) slammed phony US/European claims about a “Russia connection” to Ryanair flight 4978 from Athens to Vilnius, Lithuania diverted to Minsk, Belarus because of an alleged bomb on board not found.
MZ: Straightaway Russia was falsely accused of involvement in the incident “without any substantiation,” adding:
No “hand of Moscow” was involved.
Czech Republic prime minister Andrej Babis falsely said four Russian citizens aboard the flight “probably had a lot to do with” the incident (sic).
Biden regime press secretary implied a Russian connection because of its close ties to Belarus.
So did national security advisor Sullivan.
Russophobic UK foreign secretary Raab falsely claimed that “it’s very difficult to believe that this kind of action could be taken without at least the acquiescence of the authorities in Moscow (sic).”
German Bundestag’s foreign affairs committee chairman Norbert Rottgen turned truth on its head, saying:
“It can be assumed that (the incident he falsely called a “state hijacking”) was approved by the Kremlin (sic).”
MZ stressed that US/European comments on the incident “border(ed) on hysterics (and showed contempt for) facts.”
No Russian citizens were aboard Ryanair flight 4978. Moscow had nothing to do with the incident.
In the aftermath of Big Lies by the US, UK and EU about Russia — even when caught red-handed — apologies are virtually never forthcoming.
Commenting on illegal US occupation of northern and southern Syrian territory on the phony pretext of combatting ISIS the Washington created and supports, MZ slammed Big Lies by US CENTCOM commander General Kenneth McKenzie.
He lied saying Pentagon forces in Syria aim to prevent ISIS jihadists from returning to the country — where they continue to be used as US proxy foot soldiers against Damascus.
Russian and Syrian armed forces alone combatted the scourge of US/NATO/Turkish/Israeli supported jihadists in the country.
MZ: Pentagon forces “in Syria under the (phony) pretext of fighting terrorism” perpetuate endless war in the country without resolution.
MZ also slammed UK war secretary Ben Wallace’s hostile remarks about Russia, falsely calling the country Britain’s “number one adversary threat (sic).”
He lied claiming Russian warships “snoop” in UK waters.
He lied saying Russian submarines “stalk” Britain’s coastline.
He lied accusing Vladimir Putin of targeting the UK.
He lied saying “(w)e’re regularly visited by nosy Russian ship (sic), and we are regularly visited now by a number of Russian warships (sic).”
He lied claiming Britain favors “deescalation” — what’s polar opposite its Russophobic agenda.
He, foreign secretary Rabb, and other Boris Johnson regime officials recited a litany of other bald-faced Big Lies about Russia in cahoots with their higher power in Washington.
Head of Britain’s armed forces admiral James Macleod falsely accused Russia of “flexing its muscles (in) our backyard.”
Russophobe UK general Nick Carter defied reality by calling Russia the “most serious (threat) in the Euro-Atlantic area (sic).”
Moscow threatens no one. US-dominated NATO threatens humanity — Britain allied with its imperial agenda by partnering in its wars of aggression against invented enemies.
In response to UK foreign minister Rabb’s threat of illegal sanctions on Russia over the Ryanair incident Moscow had nothing to do with, MZ said the following:
Rabb’s threat reflects “notorious British logic and London’s official mentality.”
“Britain’s foreign policy stopped being rational…years (ago and) bec(ame) a hostage of” Russophobic US/UK political establishment extremists.
Their “attacks are drowning out the voices of the politicians who call for pragmatic dialogue with Moscow.”
“(U)nfriendly actions against Russia will inevitably receive a harsh and commensurate response.”
“And responsibility for the negative consequences of this for bilateral relations will rest squarely with the initiators of confrontation” in the US, UK and EU.
Commenting on Ukraine’s US-installed fascist regime, MZ said its hardline rule “increasingly (resembles tyranny) depicted in Orwell’s 1984” — including Big Brother mass surveillance and suppression of whatever conflicts with the official narrative.
Its ruling regime shut down independent, truth-telling media, along with “persecut(ing) journalists and politicians who dare express their own point of view.”
It bans historically correct books, films and other materials, including about WW II crimes extremists in the country committed in cahoots with Nazi Germany.
Calling Ukrainian security forces a “beast,” MZ said “punitive measures, entities and tools select those who do not threaten and those who (allegedly) do threaten Ukraine’s national security.”
Its ruling regime is inflicting enormous harm on Ukrainians by ruthlessly eliminating all things Russian in the country.
Its playbook is similar to Nazi Germany’s in the 1930s and early 40s.
The nation as now ruled is a festering sore in Europe’s heartland — a scourge against the rule of law and fundamental freedoms.
