Bennett Regime Calls for Attacking Iran’s Legitimate Nuclear Program
Replacing one extremist Israeli regime with a new one changed nothing for long-suffering Palestinians or regional peace.
Undeclared Israeli war by hot and/or other means continues unchanged against besieged Gazans, Occupied Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, Syria, Hezbollah, and Iran — despite no threats they pose.
On Saturday, hardline Israeli foreign minister Lapid tweeted a litany of bald-faced Big Lies about Iranian President-elect Ebrahim Raeisi, saying:
“Iran’s new president, known as the butcher of Tehran (sic), is an extremist responsible for the deaths of thousands of Iranians (sic).”
“He is committed to (Iran’s) nuclear ambitions (sic) and to its campaign of global terror (sic).”
A separate foreign ministry statement falsely said Raeisi’s election should “prompt grave concern among the international community (sic).”
“More than ever, Iran’s (legitimate) nuclear program must be halted immediately (sic), rolled back entirely and stopped indefinitely (sic).”
“Iran’s (legitimate) ballistic missile program (for defense, not offense) must be dismantled (sic) and its (nonexistent) global terror campaign (sic) vigorously countered by a broad international coalition (sic).”
Lapid’s spokesman Lior Haiat tweeted:
Raeisi will be Iran’s “most extremist president to date (sic).”
“An extremist figure (sic), committed to Iran’s rapidly advancing military nuclear program (sic), his election makes clear Iran’s true malign intentions (sic), and should prompt grave concern among the international community (sic).”
Israel’s new regime indicated that it’ll go all-out against reviving the JCPOA as unanimously affirmed by Security Council Res. 2231 — making it binding international law.
According to an unnamed Bennett/Lapid regime official, “(t)here will be no choice (now) but to go back and prepare attack plans (against) Iran’s (legal, nonthreatening) nuclear program” with no military component or plans for one.
“This will require budgets and the reallocation of resources.”
Separately, Israeli war minister Gantz said the Bennett/Lapid and Biden regimes warned that “all options are on the table” with regard to possible military strikes on legitimate Iranian nuclear facilities to prevent its government from developing nukes it doesn’t seek and wants eliminated everywhere.
On Sunday, IDF chief General Aviv Kohavi and other Bennett/Lapid regime officials left for Washington to discuss Iran legitimate nuclear program and nonexistent “expansionist” aims, an IDF statement saying the following:
Israeli officials “will discuss with (their) counterparts current shared security challenges (sic), including matters dealing with the Iranian nuclear threat (sic), Iran’s efforts to entrench itself militarily in the Middle East (sic), Hezbollah’s rearmament efforts (sic), the consequences of the threat of precision-guided missiles and joint force build-up (sic).”
All of the above alleged threats are invented. No real ones exist.
Extremist US/Israeli regimes pretend otherwise.
In stark contrast, US-dominated NATO and nuclear armed Israel threaten everyone everywhere.
Separately, a report by the Iranian parliament’s Research Center (IPRC) said Biden regime hardliners devised “legal” obstacles to keep unlawfully imposed non-JCPOA-related sanctions in place, adding:
The US intends to continue undermining Iran’s economy through endless war on the country by other means — no matter what may be agreed on in Vienna.
The Biden regime continues Trump’s “maximum pressure” on Iran unchanged.
JCPOA talks in Vienna since April 6 achieved no breakthroughs.
On key issues of removing all illegally imposed sanctions on Iran and complying with JCPOA provisions as affirmed by Security Council Res. 2231 by the US and E3 countries, talks remain at impasse.
There are no signs of resolving what appears unresolvable because dominant Biden regime and congressional hardliners remain implacably hostile toward Iranian freedom from US control.
Their policies have nothing to do with Iranian threats because there are none.
