Russia Slams US/NATO Forces Near its Borders
Hegemon USA and its imperial partners represent an unparalleled threat to everyone everywhere.
On Wednesday, Russia’s Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu slammed the threat posed by US/NATO’s “military presence” near the borders “of the Russia-Belarus Union State,” adding:
The warmaking “alliance is (building up) its military infrastructure, creating logistics supplies and stocks of armaments and military hardware and practicing troop redeployment routes.”
Citing US-led Defender Europe war games, he stressed that “(t)he West refuses to constructively examine our proposals on de-escalating tension, including the initiatives on pulling the area of the drills from the contact line and introducing a moratorium on the deployment of intermediate-and shorter-range missiles in Europe.”
He denounced US “fueling (of) tensions” in Europe’s heartland near Russia’s borders, along with pressuring regional countries — by threats of sanctions — to create and be part of “structures similar to NATO” that jeopardize Moscow’s security, adding:
“A ballistic missile defense system (for offense) is being deployed on a large scale and is being linked with strike weapons.”
Shoigu also expressed concern about instability in Afghanistan — heightened by days of Pentagon airstrikes on Taliban positions.
They were launched in defiance of the 2020 US/Taliban Agreement for Bringing Peace to the war-torn country.
Separately, Shoigu slammed US mass slaughter and destruction wherever its forces operate.
It’s “the same in Syria…in Libya,” and elsewhere, he explained.
“When non-regional players intervene (in parts of the world where they don’t belong), this is what happens.”
On Tuesday, CENTCOM commander General Frank McKenzie said the following:
The Pentagon “increased airstrikes in support of Afghan forces over the last several days, and we’re prepared to continue this heightened level of support in the coming weeks if the Taliban continue their attacks,” adding:
“I reassured the (US-installed puppet regime with no legitimacy) that we are continuing to provide airstrikes in defense of (Afghan) forces under attack by the Taliban…”
McKenzie refused to say if US airstrikes will continue ahead at its discretion, perpetuating its longest war in modern times, likely with no intention of ending it by hot and other means to maintain control over the country and its valued resources, potentially worth trillions of dollars.
Occupied by US troops, special forces, CIA operatives, paramilitary forces, and so-called private military contractors (PMCs), if Pentagon foot soldiers leave, remaining US elements will stay in the country, largely covertly.
US dark forces also want oil and gas pipelines constructed across its territory.
They want it controlled as part of a plan to encircle Russia and China, along with maintaining opium production used for heroin.
The US restored Afghanistan’s opium economy the Taliban eliminated in the 1990s.
It’s a bonanza for money-laundering Western banks and the CIA — Langley profiting hugely from drugs trafficking as a revenue source.
US war and control of the country was planned long before 9/11.
Biden regime hardliners have no intention of relinquishing control ahead.
US-dominated NATO pledged billions of dollars to continue supporting Afghanistan’s military.
It long ago proved ineffective against Taliban fighters, in control of most of the country’s territory.
Last week, a Taliban spokesman said fighting will continue until a new government is formed and US-installed puppet president Ghani steps down.
Forever US war in Afghanistan nears its 20th anniversary with no conflict resolution in prospect.
