Inventing Enemies to Advance US Hegemonic Aims
Hegemons needs enemies to advance their interests.
When don’t exist, they’re invented.
The above is longstanding US policy against nations free from its control, notably Russia, China, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, and others unwilling to sacrifice their sovereign rights to a higher power in Washington.
US Russia bashing has been around since its 1917 revolution — other than during WW II when allied against Nazi Germany and under pro-Western puppet Boris Yeltsin during the neoliberal 90s.
Since Russia regained its stature and independence on the world stage under Vladimir Putin, both right wings of the US war party reinvented it once again as a US enemy — despite no threat posed by its leadership.
Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) director Sergey Naryshkin said US politicians and go-along media demonize Russia no matter who’s empowered in Washington.
Biden’s double was criticized by both sides of the aisle for meeting with Putin in Geneva — even though talks left dismal bilateral relations unchanged.
The White House was also criticized for not going all-out to sabotage North Stream 2’s completion.
Trump was criticized for wanting improved US relations with Russia.
While Naryshkin believes while it’s possible one day, it will take enormous longterm efforts by Russia and a US mindset change to achieve what’s nowhere in sight now.
It’s unattainable with undemocratic Dems in power.
Last week, Biden’s double falsely accused Moscow of meddling in US November 2022 midterm elections and wanting its sovereignty undermined by “spreading misinformation.”
Empowered US parties usually lose seats to the opposition when midterm congressional elections are held.
According to Naryshkin, Dems expect it next year and are “preparing” to lay blame on a convenient scapegoat where it doesn’t belong to save face, adding:
Hearing long ago debunked claims over again is like a “broken record.”
Last month, Russian US envoy Anatoly Antonov said “(a)ttempts to present us as an aggressor and a country conducting ‘malign’ activities have long been the hallmark of Russophobes,” adding:
“(T)hreats against us are groundless and useless.”
“We neither accept such rhetoric, nor can we accept the practice of illegitimate unilateral sanctions.”
“(H)ostile (rhetoric and actions) against our country” by the US and West breaches the letter and spirit of international law and what bilateral relations between and among nonbelligerent nations are supposed to be all about.
Russia is a reliable partner on the world stage in sharp contrast to how Washington, the West and their vassal states operate.
Yet in remarks last week to the US intelligence community, Biden’s impersonator falsely accused Russia of “violating US sovereignty (sic),” citing no evidence to back his claim because none exists.
No matter how often before phony US accusations about Russian US election interference were debunked, the Big Lie refuses to die.
Robert Mueller’s lengthy witch hunt laid an egg by failing to find damning information because there was nothing to find.
The same was true for House and Senate probes.
Cooked up by the Obama/Biden regime’s Russophobic CIA director John Brennan, it remains one of the most shameful chapters in US political history.
After many months and pouring millions of dollars down a black hole, Mueller and undemocratic Dems found collusion, no obstruction of justice, no evidence of Russian US election meddling — nothing to blame on Moscow or Vladimir Putin personally.
Earlier claims by the DNI and CIA that Putin personally ordered a campaign of US election meddling to favor Trump over Hillary in 2016 were rubbish.
In response to Big Lies by Biden’s impersonator or this issue, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed that Russia never interfered in the electoral process of any other countries.
The Kremlin “does not and has no intention to meddle in some electoral processes abroad,” he added.
Not a shred of credible evidence suggests otherwise.
At the same time, he slammed “US special services operat(ing) in Russia (that) certainly raises concerns.”
Things have been this way “since the dawn of time,” he added.
Fake news about Russia and other nations free from US control “are in demand” on the home front, said Peskov.
“(I)t is also obvious” that Biden’s imposter is reciting “messages…prepared by his staff.”
Looking ahead, US Cold War on Russia and other invented enemies shows no signs of easing.
Hegemon USA needs invented domestic and geopolitical threats to advance its agenda and terrify Americans to accept what no one should tolerate.
In my 9th decade, never before was I as concerned as now about where things are heading.
Without public awareness and intolerance of nearly full-blown tyranny in the US and West, we’re doomed to lose what remains of just societies most cherish.
Replaced by police state-enforced totalitarian rule, full-blown tyranny is near at hand without mass rebellion against what’s unfolding in plain sight.
