Hegemon USA uses sanctions as weapons of war by other means against nations free from its control.
Imposing them on Russia, China, Iran and other independent nations prevents normalized relations while achieving no strategic aims.
Using them reflects weakness, not strength.
Breaching UN Charter Article 41, unilaterally imposed sanctions by one nation against others have no legal validity.
Their use reflects hegemon USA’s “rules-based order” — its rules in contravention of international law.
Nations observing them are complicit in law-breaking.
Newly imposed Biden regime sanctions on Iran for invented reasons aim to assure that the US/E3-destroyed JCPOA stays this way.
New ones on China, North Korea, Myanmar and Bangladesh prevent normalized relations with these countries.
In response to Biden regime sanctions on China for invented human rights abuses in Xinjiang, other fabricated reasons, and near-unanimous US House adoption of the so-called Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (sic), China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said the following:
“China has elaborated its position on Xinjiang-related issues on many occasions.”
US fake news about “forced labor in Xinjiang is nothing but defamation.”
“The US repeatedly spreads rumors and makes trouble on Xinjiang-related issues.”
“This is in essence political manipulation and economic bullying in the name of human rights.”
“The US intention is to undermine Xinjiang’s prosperity, stability and ethnic solidarity, and contain China’s development.”
Hegemon USA “should know that crafting conspiracies and plots with Xinjiang-related issues will not stop the pursuit of a better life by people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang or hold back the overriding trend of China’s development.”
“China is firmly resolved in defending its national interests.”
“If the US…harm(s) China’s interests, we are compelled to take resolute countermeasures.”
Along with sanctioning Beijing on invented human rights abuses in Xinjiang, the Biden regime also imposed them on the SenseTime Group, China-based artificial intelligence company.
On all things human rights, hegemon USA is the most grievous offender at home and abroad over a longer duration than any other nation in world history.
Falsely accusing other nations of these abuses combines waging war on them by other means with diverting attention from its own crimes of war, against humanity and other criminality.
Illegally sanctioning SenseTime prohibits Americans from buying shares in the company’s stock.
It’s no coincidence that the move was timed ahead of the firm’s planned December 17 $768 million initial public offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange — now delayed.
The company is one of the world’s largest facial recognition/computer vision firms.
In October 2019, one of its subsidiaries was blacklisted by the Trump regime over phony claims of involvement in Xinjiang human rights abuses.
According to fake news by the Biden regime’s Treasury Department “more than one million Uygurs and members of other predominantly Muslim ethnic minority groups have been detained in Xinjiang (sic),” adding:
“(M)ass detention of Uygurs is part of an effort by PRC authorities to use detentions and data-driven surveillance to create a police state in the Xinjiang region (sic).”
No corroborating evidence was presented to prove the above accusations because there is none.
US Indo/Pacific strategy aims for control over a part of the world not its own.
It aims to challenge, weaken, isolate and undermine China politically, economically, financially, technologically and militarily.
It risks war on a nation able to hit back as hard as it takes if things go this far.
China is a growing powerhouse on the world stage.
Spokesman for its Washington embassy Liu Pengyu said newly imposed US sanctions “grave(ly) harm” bilateral relations.
“Xinjiang-related issues are never about human rights, ethnicity or religion.”
Citing them is a phony US pretext for war on China by other means.
The same goes for waging sanctions war on other nations unwilling to sacrifice their sovereign rights to Washington’s will.
