Don’t Tread on Me

Vladimir Putin’s long overdue tough talk suggests that Russia no longer will let the US-dominated West threaten its security and sovereign rights without implementing countermeasures.

He stressed it by calling for legally binding/unconditional guarantees — notably stressing that Moscow won’t tolerate further US-controlled NATO’s eastward expansion toward or along its borders.

On Friday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the following:

“You must understand why this subject has arisen.”

“It is because of continued hostile actions being taken by (US-dominated) NATO countries, to which Russia’s leadership has responded by saying that if all of this continues, such hostile, unfriendly, aggressive actions will be met with an adequate response, including in the military-technical sphere.”

“(T)here’s no need to invent the idea that these are special, secret plans.”

They’re “nothing of the kind.”

“This is a sober assessment of the situation (that’s based on) an understanding of the strategy and tactics of countries and political systems with which we must now do business…and the creation of appropriate measures, goals and tasks based on” East/West relations.

Days earlier, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said if NATO continues to threaten Moscow’s security, its ruling authorities reserve the right to respond defensively.

Steps taken include possible deployment of nuclear-capable missiles on Russia’s Western border and in Belarus.

If hegemon USA and NATO vassal states send more military forces to Ukraine, “such steps will only lead to further escalation of the situation…in our relations with the West (and especially with) the US,” Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko stressed, adding:

Russia’s draft agreements for security guarantees were sent to Washington and Brussels alone, not to US-colonized Kiev.

Moscow is still waiting for an official Biden regime response not forthcoming so far.

On Friday, Zakharova also explained thousands of US and other Western military personnel in Ukraine suggest that their presence is all about preparing for escalated aggression on Donbass, adding:

“The more (Western military forces in Ukraine), the bigger” its US-installed regime’s budget for war-making.

“The more arms they bring there, the more often we hear explosions, not only on the line of contact, but also right in the neighborhood of civilian infrastructure.”

Claiming that Western forces are in Ukraine to deter Russian aggression is a bald-faced Big Lie fooling no one.

The phony claim is “hypocrisy (and) double standards…a combination of blasphemy and mockery.”

Hegemon USA, NATO and Ukraine prioritize forever war in central Europe along Russia’s border, rejecting resolution.

There’s no ambiguity about what’s going on or Biden regime intentions.

Chances for easing tensions, stepping back from the brink of greater war, agreeing to respect Russia’s security and sovereign rights as a way toward more normalized relations is virtually nil — no matter what public statements are made by Biden regime hardliners.

On December 28 and 29, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will meet with Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg to “discuss topical issues of Belarus-Russia cooperation,” the BelTa news service reported.

Separately, Belarusian Security Council deputy chief General Vladimir Archakov accused Washington, Brussels and colonized Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania” of heightening regional tensions more than already, adding:

If confrontation with Belarus erupts militarily, Baltic states will be “swept off the face of the earth.”

Looking ahead to the new year, East/West tensions are far more likely to heighten further than ease.

As long as undemocratic Dems run things in Washington, a permanent state of hot and cold war will be prioritized — notably against Russia, China and Iran.

A Final Comment

On Friday, an unidentified assailant threw a Molotov cocktail at the entrance of Russia’s consulate in Lviv, Ukraine.

In response Russia’s Foreign Ministry said the following:

The charge d’affaires of Ukraine in Russia was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry, to whom a strong protest was made and demands were made for the Ukrainian side to fulfill its international obligations to ensure security and create appropriate conditions for the normal functioning of Russian diplomatic and consular missions,” adding:

“Russophobic hysteria in Ukraine, inciting hatred and enmity towards the Russian Federation” bears responsibility for the incident.

“(T)he Russian consulate general sent a note to the regional office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and an appeal addressed to the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv with a demand to take urgent measures to improve the security of the institution and its employees, as well as to locate and punish those responsible.”

“A similar note from the Russian Embassy in Kiev was sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.”

On Friday, Tass quoted the head of Ukraine’s presidential office, Andrei Yermak, saying the following:

“We regularly coordinate our actions with” with hegemon USA, Tass adding:

Kiev “stick(s) to the principle that no issues related to Ukraine are decided without its involvement.”

Did Biden regime hardliners order the attack on Russia’s Lviv consulate?

Will they further escalate hostile actions against Russia in the new year?

Will they risk unthinkable war on a nation with super-weapons unmatched in the West?

Do they similar intentions in mind against China, Iran and other nations free from US control?
