Neocon-Infested Atlantic Council Urges Escalated Cold War on Russia

Infested with neocon war-mongering extremists, Atlantic Council members never met a nation free from US control it didn’t want raped and destroyed.

On December 30, the Washington-based group published a militantly hostile to Russia piece by two dozen Russophobes.

An editorial note invented its own fabricated reality as follows, saying:

“Moscow’s buildup of troops on and near Ukraine’s borders (that doesn’t exist) and (fake claim of) bellicose rhetoric raised the prospect of a major conventional war in Europe (sic).”

If war beyond years of Kiev aggression on Donbass occurs, it’ll be launched by US-dominated NATO — surely not by nonbelligerent, nonthreatening Russia.

Vladimir Putin’s telephone discussion with the fake Biden “underscores the dangers of” a made-in-the-USA crisis falsely blamed on Russia.

No Russian “aggression” exists against any nations, no provocations.

All of the above and much more is how hegemon USA and its subservient European vassal states operate.

Hostile to peace, stability and the rule of law, the following dirty dozen x 2 allied in producing a reinvention of reality no responsible editors would touch:

Stephen Blank, Philip Breedlove, Ian Brzezinski, Debra Cagan, Wesley K. Clark, Larry Diamond, Paula Dobriansky, Evelyn Farkas, Daniel Fried, Francis Fukuyama, Melinda Haring, John E. Herbst, Ben Hodges, Donald N. Jensen, Andrea Kendall-Taylor, John Kornblum, Michael McFaul, Steven Pifer, Herman Pirchner, Jr., John Sipher, Strobe Talbott, William Taylor, Alexander Vershbow, Kurt Volker.

Calling for rejection of Moscow’s sought security guarantees, they lied saying that Russia “made provocative statements at high levels (sic).”

They lied claiming that NATO’s enlargement eastward near or along Russia’s border poses no “military threat” to its security (sic).

They lied saying that hegemon USA and its subservient NATO partners “abided by (their) commitments in the NATO-Russia Founding Act (sic).”

They falsely accused Moscow of breaching its Founding Act, UN Charter, Helsinki Final Act, Paris Charter, and Budapest Memorandum commitments.

In stark contrast to how US-dominated NATO breached virtually everything it signed onto, Russia is in full compliance to its treaty and other international law obligations.

The 24 Atlantic Council contributors turned truth on its head by falsely claiming that Russia “appears to be setting the stage for launching a major conventional assault on Ukraine (sic),” adding:

“We believe that the (Biden regime) should, in closest consultation with its NATO allies and with Ukraine, take immediate steps to affect the Kremlin’s cost-benefit calculations before the Russian leadership opts for further military escalation (sic).”

“This means raising the costs that would ensue should the Russian military launch a new assault (sic) on Ukraine, building on the excellent set of measures that” Biden regime hardliners threatened to impose.

They also called for sending (more heavy and other weapons to (US-colonized) Ukraine, and strengthening NATO’s force posture on its eastern flank.”

They urged more illegal US/Western sanctions on Russia than already.

They called for preventing Russia’s Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline to Germany and European markets from becoming operational.

They urged greater “military assistance and equipment (supplied to Ukraine) on an expedited basis.”

They called for the Biden and other NATO regimes to “stand together” against nonbelligerent, nonthreatening Russia.

They expressed support for building up greater US-led NATO force strength near Russia’s borders.

They barely stopped short of calling for unthinkable war between the world’s dominant nuclear powers.

The group of 24 resemble Stanley Kubrick’s deranged General Jack D. Ripper — a fictional figure obsessed with waging nuclear war in his 1964 dark satire, titled “Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.”

The film’s ominous ending depicted nuclear detonations accompanied by British singer Vera Lynn’s famous WW II “We’ll Meet Again” recording.

Russophobic lunatics infest the US and other NATO countries.

Given the strength of Moscow’s unmatched in the West super-weapons, attacking Russia would be suicidal for nations taking this step.

No Russian assault looms against any country.

Its ruling authorities abhor war, wanting it prevented by nations against others.

Its geopolitical agenda is polar opposite how militantly hostile to peace USA and its war-making partners operate.

Throughout the post-W W II, both right wings of the US war party attacked one nonbelligerent, nonthreatening country after another.

Believing it could roll over them easily didn’t turn out as planned.

So far, hegemon USA stopped short of attacking nations able to hit back punishingly hard against aggressors.

Yet war on Russia, China and/or Iran remains possible because of its rage to dominate other nations by brute force if other tactics fail.

If WW III erupts, it’ll be made-in-the-USA.

If fought with super-weapons, including nukes, Einstein’s warning about “World War IV…fought with stick and stones” will likely be ominously correct.

US strategic targets and cities will be turned into smoldering rubble.

Life on earth could be extinguished if hegemon USA goes too far.
