As expected, dominant Biden regime hardliners rejected what’s crucial to Russian security — what’s mandated by international law for all nations.
In response to US imperial arrogance, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said it’s clear that the Biden regime doesn’t “t(ake) our concerns into account or show readiness” to shift in this direction.
Ahead of the Biden regime’s response, Sergey Lavrov said the following on Wednesday:
US-dominated NATO regimes, “without exception, are caught up in a ‘military’ frenzy of sorts.”
“We will punish you. You will attack. We will punish you and save Ukraine.”
“ ‘You’ll get more than you bargained for’ and so on is all (we) hear from them.”
“You read the dramatic language that the West uses to state its positions.”
“We are ready for all scenarios. We didn’t attack anyone.”
“We have always been attacked in the past.”
“Those who did so invariably got what they deserved.”
“So, I will not speculate about what (the US-dominated West) may pull next.”
“Clearly, they are befuddled and not really sure how to get out of the corner they have painted themselves into.”
“We are prepared to reliably defend the interests and security of our country, as well as the security of our citizens.”
In response to US-installed NATO puppet Stoltenterg’s threat of increasing alliance forces near Russia’s borders, Lavrov said:
“I stopped considering his statements a long time ago.”
Serving his US master in Washington, “he lost touch with reality.”
In response to the Biden regime’s contempt for Russia’s security concerns and the rule of law, Lavrov explained the following:
“There is no positive reaction on the main issue in this document.”
“The main issue is our clear position that further NATO expansion to the east and the deployment of strike weapons that could threaten the territory of the Russian Federation are unacceptable.”
“The content of the documents” shows that the Biden regime might only address secondary issues to a degree.
The content of the Biden regime’s response “will become known to the general public in the very near future.”
Lavrov has “no doubt” that it’ll be leaked.
Both right wings of the US war party reject the “principle that one (nation) should not strengthen (its) security at the expense of others.”
“Neither the Istanbul nor Astana declarations (were) mentioned by” the Biden regime or its subservient Western vassal states.”
They unilaterally claim the right to surround Russia with heavily armed NATO states that are militantly hostile to its security and sovereign rights.
“We cannot accept this,” Lavrov stressed.
“After an interdepartmental consultation, we will brief (Vladimir Putin), and (he’ll) decide on our next steps.”
Separately, parliamentary leader of Moscow’s governing United Russia party, Vladimir Vasilyev, said the following:
It’s important to address requests by Donbass officials for weapons and equipment needed in response to “pumping up Ukraine with missile systems, grenade launchers, and other supplies” by the US-dominated West.
What’s going on are “preparation(s) for” escalated aggression by Kiev — as orchestrated, directed and ordered by Biden regime hardliners.
“We have waited a long time for a reasonable decision to prevail in Washington, but this is not happening.”
“We only hear about sanctions, and about weapons being sent into the conflict zone.”
“We cannot accept this.”
Over a million Russian nationals live in Donbass.
“(W)e cannot abandon (them) to the whim of the (US-dominated) regime in Kiev.”
Former United Russia General Council Secretary, upper house Federation Council Senator Andrey Turchak agrees that the People’s Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk deserve “necessary assistance (from Moscow) in the form of different types of weaponry to increase their defense capabilities.”
As long as US-dominated NATO remains on a war footing along Russia’s borders, the risk of setting central Europe ablaze remains ominously high.
It could happen if Kiev escalates aggression on Donbass by invading its territory.
On Thursday, deputy military commander of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Eduard Basurin, said the following:
“Amid mass supplies of weapons to Ukraine by western countries, we welcome the statement by Federation Council First Deputy Speaker, United Russia Party General Council Secretary Andrey Turchak.”
“It shows that Russia would never leave its fellow countrymen in trouble and will always support them.”
DPR leader Denis Pushilin “welcome(s) (Russian aid) to withstand impending Ukrainian aggression.”
According to Interfax, citing Dmitry Peskov, the Biden regime’s response to Russia’s security demands was delivered to Vladimir Putin.
After consultation with key officials around him, it’s his call on Russia’s next steps.
