Censoring Machine Meta Declares War on Russia

Anti-social media Meta’s Facebook and Instagram operate as censoring machines in cahoots with US/Western dark forces — in flagrant violation of First Amendment speech, press and academic freedoms.

FB saying “we take great care to create standards that include different views and beliefs, especially from people and communities that might otherwise be overlooked or marginalized…(in support of) public safety and human rights” is belied by its double standards.

The same goes for saying that FB stands against “content that could contribute to a risk of harm to the physical security of persons.” 

It’s true as well by claiming that FB “believes that all people are equal in dignity and rights.” 

“We expect that people will respect the dignity of others and not harass or degrade others.”

“Our Community Standards apply to everyone, all around the world, and to all types of content.”

On Thursday, FB’s double standards became clearer.

Henceforth, Meta’s FB and Instagram OK’d postings of violent anti-Russia content, including support for assassinating Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

A Meta declaration of war on them and their nations said the following:

“As a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we have temporarily (sic) made allowances for forms of political expression (sic) that would normally violate our rules like violent speech such as ‘death to the Russian invaders.’ ”

“We are issuing a spirit-of-the-policy allowance to allow T1 violent speech that would otherwise be removed under the Hate Speech policy when: (a) targeting Russian soldiers, EXCEPT prisoners of war, or (b) targeting Russians where it’s clear that the context is the Russian invasion of Ukraine (e.g., content mentions the invasion, self-defense, etc.).” 

“We are doing this because we have observed that in this specific context, ‘Russian soldiers’ are being used as a proxy for the Russian military.” 

In response to Meta’s virtual declaration of war on Russia, its US embassy responded as follows:

“Meta’s aggressive and criminal policy leading to incitement of hatred and hostility towards Russians is outrageous.”

It’s more “evidence of information war without rules declared on our country.” 

“Media corporations have become soldiers of the propaganda machine of the Western establishment.”

“We demand that US authorities stop the extremist activities of Meta and take measures to bring the perpetrators to justice.” 

“Users of Facebook and Instagram did not give the owners of these internet platforms the right to determine the criteria of truth and pit nations against each other.”

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Meta’s announced change of policy will be scrupulously studied,” adding:

In response, “we will resort to resolute measures to stop activities of this company.”

On Friday, Russia’s Prosecutor General called for Meta’s FB and Instagram platforms to be judicially designated as extremist organizations — Instagram banned along with FB.

Its altered community standards reportedly apply to Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia, and Ukraine.

The revised double standard likely assures that wherever anti-Russia violent content is posted on FB and Instagram worldwide, it’ll be permitted by no action to take it down.

In response to blocking of Russian media in Europe on its platform, Moscow banned FB internally.

Meta’s double standards also permit praise for Nazified Ukrainian  military forces.

Russian nationals in the West are threatened.

Russian and Belarusian athletes were banned from participating in international sports events, including by the International Hockey Federation, World Rugby, FIFA, UEFA, World Curling, and the International Olympic Committee’s Executive Board.

The International Cat Federation banned Russian cats from international competition.

Undemocratic Dem US Rep. Eric Swalwell called for closing the Russian embassy and expelling Russian students from the US, adding:

“Reduc(e) (Russia’s) role at the UN in NY. Cut their visas for UN employees.” 

“The goal is to isolate Russia. Make it clear they are a pariah state (sic).” 

In the US and elsewhere in the West, all things Russian are under attack in similar fashion to US/Western war on Islam following the 9/11 mother of all state-sponsored false flags to that time.

US-dominated NATO aggression followed against Afghanistan, Yemen, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Somalia, along with war by other means on Russia, China, Iran and other countries free from hegemon USA’s control.

For time immemorial, US war on Russia raged by other means because of its sovereign independence.

Nations not subordinating their rights to its interests are considered enemies of the state threats to its national security.

Is unthinkable hot war possible between the world’s dominant nuclear powers?

On Thursday, deputy director of Russian Foreign Ministry’s Department for Non-Proliferation and Arms Control Igor Vishnevetsky said the following:

“Nuclear war can’t be staged by definition because this would result in the end of civilization…mankind. We can’t allow it in any way,” adding:

State of the art nuclear weapons and delivery systems are so advanced that “no one would (even) be able to stop (their) limited” use if launched. 

On the same day, Sergey Lavrov said “I don’t want to believe” that Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine will lead to nuclear war, “and I do not believe it,” adding:

Russia will “emerge from this crisis with a revitalized psychology and conscience.”

“We won’t have any illusions that the West can be a reliable partner.” 

“We will do everything to ensure that we never again depend on the West in those areas of our life which have a significant meaning for our people.”

Vladimir Putin made similar remarks, saying:

What’s going on will “lead to an increase in our independence, self sufficiency and our sovereignty,” replacing imports by developing domestic markets.

Russia overcame “problems and difficulties (before), and we will overcome them now.”
