From June 6 – 10 in Los Angeles, the Biden regime will host the 9th Summit for some of the Americas, not all hemispheric states — in defiance of what the gathering is supposed to be all about.
It’s to “promote cooperation towards region-wide, inclusive economic growth and prosperity based on (democratic principles), fundamental freedoms, the dignity of labor, and free enterprise.”
Not when any of the above principles conflict with hegemon USA’s agenda to dominate the world community of nations by brute force if lesser tactics fail to achieve its diabolical aims.
The summit will have nothing to do with “building a sustainable, resilient, and equitable future” for the hemisphere, as the State Department falsely claimed.
Like previous summits, it has everything to do with controlling hemispheric nations, making it clear who’s boss, how Yankee imperialism operates.
Before poisoned to death or infected with cancer that took him almost a decade ago, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said the following:
“(T)he American empire is doing all it can to consolidate its system of domination.”
“(W)e cannot allow them to do that. We cannot allow world dictatorship…”
“What type of democracy do you impose with marines and bombs?”
America “doesn’t want peace. It wants to (expand) its system of exploitation, of pillage, of hegemony (worldwide) through war.”
Nations unwilling to sacrifice their sovereign rights to US interests are once again excluded from this year’s Summit of the Americas.
Notably Cuba, Nicaragua and Bolivarian Venezuela weren’t invited for what will be 5 days of made-in-the-USA PR propaganda.
Friendly despots are welcome, notably ones responsible for horrendous human rights abuses, including the Colombian and Haitian regimes.
In stark contrast, independent democratic governments are shunned.
To his credit, Mexican President Andres Manual Lopez Obrador (AMLO) said if the Biden regime excludes Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela from the June summit, he’ll boycott the gathering.
So will Bolivian President Luis Arce if these nations aren’t invited.
Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei said he’ll skip the summit.
Not for excluding the above nations, it’s because the Biden regime’s State Department criticized his choice for attorney general.
Honduran President Xiomara Castro tweeted:
“If all (hemispheric) nations are not present, it is not a Summit of the Americas.”
According to Antigua and Barbuda’s envoy to the US, Ronald Sanders:
“The Summit of the Americas is in danger.”
“If (hegemon USA) insists on not inviting Cuba to this meeting, it will immediately cause 14 CARICOM countries not to attend.”
These nations will also boycott the summit if the Biden regime invites unelected/US designated puppet Guaido — a stooge representing US imperial interests in Venezuela — instead of its democratically elected and reelected President Nicolas Maduro.
In early May, Biden regime assistant secretary for Western hemisphere affairs, Brian Nichols, confirmed the exclusion of the above nations.
Saying it’s because they don’t comply with Inter-American Democratic Charter principles was code language to exclude them for being free from US imperial control.
The summit is supposed to include all hemispheric nations, not just ones willing to bend to hegemon USA’s will.
The Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) includes Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Granada, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago. Uruguay and Venezuela.
The Biden regime ignored their request to invite all hemispheric nations to the June summit, excluding none, saying:
It’s “essential that we overcome ideological divisions and focus on the search for points of agreement.”
Venezuela was excluded despite a Biden regime delegation visit to Caracas.
On bended knee, the empire of lies urged President Nicolas Maduro to increase oil production to ease shortfalls because of US/Western sanctions war on Russia.
Offering Venezuela nothing in return but hollow promises to be broken at the Biden regime’s discretion, dirty US business as usual is certain to continue because of Bolivarian Republic freedom from US control.
As things now stand, dominant Biden regime hardliners are highly likely to stick with their exclusion of Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela from next month’s summit.
If numerous hemispheric nations boycott the summit over this issue, the empire of lies will sustain another body blow.
Already in decline because of increasing resistance to its imperial arrogance, its endless wars against invented enemies, and its unwillingness to change, a Summit of the Americas flop will further reveal the myth of American exceptionalism, the indispensable state, and an illusory moral superiority.
