Iran v. the Empire of Lies and its E3/IAEA Vassals

Hegemon USA and E3 vassals Britain, France and Germany never had any intention of returning to JCPOA compliance.

The landmark agreement affirmed by Security Council Res. 2231 —making it binding international law — has been dead since Trump regime Iranophobes killed it in May 2018.

After usurping power by election rigging, the illegitimate Biden regime continued the same anti-Iran policy while pretending otherwise.

In response to the imperial tool IAEA board of governor’s rubber-stamping of a US/E3 resolution — what called on Tehran “to fulfill its legal obligations” fully complied with — the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) on Wednesday halted the agency’s access to what’s recorded on two “surveillance cameras for the On-Line Enrichment Monitor (OLEM) as well as the flow meter.”

Saying further steps would follow came Thursday as announced by head of the Islamic Republic’s AEOI, Mohammad Eslami, saying:

“We terminated the operations of a number of the agency’s cameras functioning outside the Safeguards, and tomorrow we will terminate the operations of the rest, which are 17 to 18 in total,” adding:

“(P)ractical quid pro quo steps (were taken) which include installation of advanced centrifuges and deactivation of cameras operating outside the Safeguards Agreement.”

“We installed new centrifuges and began injecting gas.”

“For gas injection into the advanced machines, the agency’s inspectors came and visited them.”

“We currently have 12 mines on our agenda and a lot more are under study.” 

“In the next five years, we will be much different in terms of mineral processing than before.”

“(P)recision instrumentation systems of 150 to 160 large plants in the country, including refineries, cement and steel, had been switched off because (US/Western regimes) were not providing services for them, but now the AEOI provides them to the country’s industries.”

The IAEA is “captive” to the interests of hegemon USA and apartheid/nuclear armed and dangerous Israel.

In stark contrast to how the US, Britain, France and Israel operate exclusively by their own rules — in flagrant breach of international law — Iran continues to comply fully with its JCPOA, NPT and other rule of law obligations.

IAEA head Rafael Grossi disgraces the office he holds by one-sidedly supporting US-dominated Western/Israeli interests at the expense of Iran’s legitimate rights.

He and majority board of governors members bear full responsibility for what’s unacceptable and won’t change as long as they’re running things.

Former Iranian envoy to international organizations in Vienna, Kazem Gharibabadi, said the following:

“If there was no political pressure on the IAEA, the possibility of resolving the issue between Iran and the (agency would be) very high, because our explanations are technically and scientifically valid.” 

Instead the agency “is a pawn” of the empire of lies and apartheid Israel, Eslami stressed — its credibility lost in the process, never to be regained as now run.

Iran’s Press TV reported that Grossi visited Israel last month.

The Bennett regime manipulated him by presenting fake news documents about Iran’s nuclear program, Eslami stressing:

To its shame, the IAEA “has been exploited by an illegitimate regime and its reputation has been” irreparably tainted. 

Iran complied with its JCPOA obligations “to build trust.”

In return, it was betrayed by the US, E3 and IAEA.

On Thursday, Russia’s envoy to the IAEA and representative in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, tweeted:

“Have you got the latest news from #Iran?” 

“Do you understand now why Russia voted against the stupid Western resolution of the #IAEA BoG on Iran yesterday?”

“Regrettably our Western counterparts demonstrate total lack of understanding of where we are.”

Of 35 IAEA board of BoG members, Russia and China alone voted against the US/E3 resolution.

India, Pakistan and Libya abstained — 30 other members backed what demanded rejection.

Ulyanov stressed that while nations representing half the world’s population rejected the US/E3 resolution with no legitimacy, the IAEA overwhelmingly adopted it anyway — supporting imperial dominance over the rule of law.

In deference to his higher powers in Washington and Tel Aviv, Grossi falsely said Iran “has not provided explanations that are technically credible in relation to the agency’s findings at three undeclared locations in Iran (sic).

Iran’s Foreign Ministry denounced the resolution supported by Grossi and majority IAEA BoG members, saying:

It’s a “political, wrongful and unconstructive act (against a country that) currently has one of the most transparent peaceful nuclear programs among the IAEA members.”

Iran’s nuclear agency spokesman, Behrouz Kamalvandi, said “other (retaliatory) are being considered, and we hope that they will come to their senses and respond to Iran’s cooperation with cooperation.”

Not as long as the IAEA operates politically in support of US-dominated Western/Israeli interests instead of sticking exclusively to promoting the peaceful use of nuclear energy, according to NPT principles.
