Platform for Russia Bashing

As stated by the world body:

“The Security Council has primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security.” 

UN “member states are (legally bound) to comply with (its) decisions.”

Its 10 rotating members — and 5 permanent ones with veto power over resolutions — take “the lead in determining the existence of a threat to the peace or act of aggression.” 

They call on “parties to a dispute to settle it by peaceful means and recommends methods of adjustment or terms of settlement.” 

The SC also has exclusive power to “impos(e) sanctions or even authorize the use of force to maintain or restore international peace and security.”

Time and again, hegemon USA and/or its vassal states turn the above defined SC mission on its head by using the body to pursue their diabolical aims in breach of what they’re sworn to uphold under international law.

They also use its platform to bash or otherwise vilify invented enemies — notably nations free from hegemon USA’s control.

On June 28, former US envoy to the world body, its under-secretary general for political affairs, Rosemary DiCarlo — installed to advance US hegemonic aims — turned reality on its head for the empire of lies as follows, saying:

“(C)ountless Ukrainian civilians have been killed in indiscriminate attacks, cities and towns leveled, and much of the country’s arable land horribly disfigured by shelling (sic)” — falsely blaming Russia for what its forces had nothing to do with.

Setting the record straight about Russia’s SMO and what happened in Kremenchuk, Ukraine on June 27 at a so-called emergency SC session on Tuesday, Moscow’s Deputy UN envoy, Dmitry Polyansky, said the following:

Objecting to SC “existing practice and working methods,” he slammed puppet Zelensky’s participation in Tuesday’s session by video link from his Polish hideout with “no consultations (beforehand among) all Council members on this issue.”

Once again, he used the public platform given him to lie and mass deceive on the world stage, his customary way of operating as directed and scripted by his US master.

Polyansky stressed that SC members should have been consulted in advance about his involvement in Tuesday’s session, adding:

“(R)epresentatives of states willing to address the Council need to be physically present in the Security Council chamber.”

The SC “should not” be used as a “platform (for) remotely (calling for) more NATO weapons.”

As current SC president, the BoJo regime breached its rules by approving Zelensky’s involvement shortly before Tuesday’s session began to permit no time for objections.

As supported by hegemon USA-dominated Western states, puppet Zelensky got a platform to advance his regime’s Nazified agenda.

Polyansky once again explained what Russia’s liberating SMO is all about.

It’s to end over 8 years of US-orchestrated and directed aggression by Kiev on long-suffering Donbass residents.

It’s to liberate Donetsk and Lugansk entirely from Nazified occupation.

It’s to demilitarize and deNazify Ukraine once and for all.

It’s to secure Russia’s borders and territory.

It’s to permit predominantly Russian-speaking parts of Ukraine to become independent of Nazified rule at their discretion.

Under international law, self-determination is a universal right.

People everywhere have the right to choose their sovereignty and political status with no outside interference.

The 1941 Atlantic Charter adopted by America, Britain and their allies during WW II affirmed the right of self-determination, its principles including “no territorial aggrandizement, no territorial changes made against the wishes of the people, self-determination, restoration of self-government to those deprived of it, among others.”

The UN Charter affirms “the principle of equal rights and self-determination of people…”

Article 1 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) states:

“All peoples have the right of self-determination.”

“By virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development.”

Article 15 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that “(e)veryone has the right to a nationality (self-determination).”

“No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his (or her) nationality nor denied the right to change his (or her) nationality.”

In December 1960, UN General Assembly Resolution 1514 granted independence to colonial countries and their people, affirming their right of self-determination.

In launching its SMO, Russia invoked the right of self-defense under international law, as affirmed by Article 51 of the UN Charter.”

“It prohibits one nation from attacking another except in self-defense, stating:

“Nothing in the present Charter shall impair the inherent right of individual or collective self-defense if an armed attack occurs against a Member of the United Nations, until the Security Council has taken measures necessary to maintain international peace and security.”

Polyansky also explained the reality of how Nazi-infested Ukraine has operated since the Obama/Biden regime’s 2014 Maidan coup in Kiev as follows, saying:

The made-in-the-USA’s Nazified regime is responsible for “committing atrocities and war crimes, pillaging, tortures, rapes, purposeful shelling of residential quarters and deploying heavy weapons there, as well as using civilians as a human shield.”

“Such testimonies did not come in dozens, but rather in hundreds and thousands, and spread quickly on social networks.”

“In particular, this is how the legends about Russian troops bombarding a maternity hospital and a drama theatre in Mariupol collapsed.” 

“Then more than 2,500 Azov (Nazi thugs), who have already been elevated to the rank of martyrs and heroes, surrendered and had to let go of hundreds of civilian hostages who shared the truth about what they had been through.”

Since April 2014, Ukrainian troops mercilessly shelled Donbass residential neighborhoods to maximize numbers of civilian deaths and injuries, along with destroying or damaging vital infrastructure.

There’s no ambiguity about Kiev’s crimes of war, against humanity and related atrocities.

Indisputable evidence proved them.

What happened this week at a Kremenchug, Ukraine shopping mall was worlds apart from US/Western/Zelensky regime propaganda rubbish.

No Russian missile struck the mall.

“Russian troops launched a high precision strike against warehouses with American and European arms and ammunition that were located next to the Kremenchug road-building machinery plant,” Polyansky explained, adding:

“Those arms and ammunition were going to be dispatched to the Ukrainian troops in Donbass, where they would target residential areas of Donetsk, Lugansk, and other cities.”

“Russian strikes prevented it.”

“Long-range artillery that the West delivers to Ukraine gives UAF an opportunity to hit rear areas of Donbass without any combat logic – just for the purposes of revenge and intimidation of local people.”

“If a (Russian) missile had hit the mall, it would have been completely destroyed.”

“Videos shot by Ukrainian bloggers show that the blast wave did not even damage goods that were on sale in Amstor.”

“Everything remained in its places without even falling to the floor.”

“Adjacent buildings were not affected either, even windows remained intact.”

“This is only possible when a projectile explodes at a considerable distance.”

“Ammunition that was stored in the warehouses detonated upon impact, starting a fire which then spread to the mall.”

The above facts are indisputable no matter how hard the empire of lies, its vassals and Ukrainian Nazis try to reinvent them for Russia-bashing propaganda purposes.

As directed by its US master, the Kiev regime stores and deploys weapons et al in or near residential areas — “turning people into…human shield(s).”

At no time throughout its SMO did Russian forces target civilians or nonmilitary sites — an indisputable fact.

Phony claims otherwise by the US/West, Nazified Ukraine and their MSM press agents are bald-faced Big Lies.

Russia launched its SMO to achieve aims explained above.

Polyansky stressed that it’ll continue until its goals are accomplished.
