Hegemon USA is Russia’s greatest threat since Nazi Germany’s rage to destroy the Soviet Union, mass-murder its unwanted people and enslave survivors.
Longstanding US plans aim to transform all nations free from its control into vassal states, their resources plundered, their people exploited as serfs.
Whenever the empire of lies and forever wars on invented enemies affirms agreements with independent nations like Russia, betrayal virtually always follows.
Time and again the US proved that diplomatic outreach to its ruling regimes is a profound waste of time.
They can never be trusted.
Russia’s only sensible options are cutting ties with the US-dominated West, along with smashing the made-in-the-USA, Nazi-infested Ukraine monster once and for all.
Despite all-out US proxy hot and sanctions war on the Russian Federation — with no end of it in prospect — Sergey Lavrov, a consummate diplomat, wasted time and effort by complying with interventionist Blinken’s request to discuss his absurd prisoner swap proposal and other issues.
Reportedly, he “pressed (Lavrov) to accept his (unacceptable) proposal (for) the release of (CIA spy) Paul Whelan and (WNBA star) Brittney Griner.”
After their phone conversation, Russia’s Foreign Ministry released the following statement, saying:
Lavrov spoke to his Biden regime counterpart “at the latter’s initiative.”
In vain, he urged Blinken to “return to professional dialogue in the form of ‘quiet diplomacy’ without any speculations.”
They “discussed current developments in Ukraine.”
Lavrov “laid out Russia’s principled approaches in the context of” its liberating SMO.
“(E)mphasiz(ing) that its goals and tasks will be fully achieved,” Lavrov stressed that “continued (US/Western) arming of” Ukrainian Nazis and conscript troops is all about forever proxy war to kill maximum numbers of Russians and Donbass civilians.
At the same time, Lavrov “stressed that the armed forces of Russia strictly observe the norms of international law and that Russia engaged in consistent efforts to restore peaceful life on the territories that it is liberating.”
They also discussed food security, as well as exports of Russian and Ukrainian agricultural products.
And he stressed that hegemon USA main goal is “to advance its (diabolical) geopolitical interests” at the expense of world peace, stability and the rule of law.
According to international affairs expert, University of Pittsburgh Professor Emeritus Michael Brenner:
“Russia blunted everything thrown at them (by the empire of lies and its vassal states) – to the shock of Western planners.”
“Every assumption underpinning their scorched-earth assault on the Russian economy (was) mistaken” and wrongheaded.
Biden regime policies toward Russia reflect a “dismal record of analytical error even by CIA and think tank standards.”
The incompetence of Blinken, Sullivan and other Biden regime officials is in sharp contrast to Russia’s ability to effectively counter their diabolical agenda.
“Off-the-charts forecasts on the country’s economy, and the global impact of sanctions, crippled Washington’s plan from the outset,” Brenner stressed, adding:
“Tactical initiatives of a military nature (were) futile” against largely self-sufficient Russia.
“(A)nother 1,000 vintage Javelins with dead battery packs will not rescue Ukrainian (Nazis) in Donbass.”
“So, you are stuck with the albatross of a truncated, bankrupt Ukraine hung around your neck.”
“There is nothing that you can do to cancel these givens — except a direct, perhaps suicidal test of force with Russia.”
“Or, perhaps, a retaliatory challenge elsewhere.”
“The latter is not readily available — for geographic reasons and because the West already has expended its arsenal of economic and political weaponry.”
The empire of lies and forever wars bit off more than it can chew against Russia’s ability to outwit, outmaneuver and hugely outgun its Ukrainian proxies.
So it’s left to stew in the pot it brought to a boil against a superior adversary.
The same goes for China if its dominant hardliners go for Act 2 in the Asia/Pacific.
Imperial arrogance, Russia’s defeat of the Biden regime’s Ukraine project, its inability to isolate the Russian Federation or crush its economy underscored Blinken’s dubious outreach to Lavrov.
A previous day’s article explained my preferred way of responding to Blinken.
Directly or through his spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, his reply should have been иди к черту — go to hell in Russia, stated diplomatically or mincing no words.
His Friday conversation with Blinken accomplished nothing.
A Final Comment
According to Blinken’s so-called spokesman Price:
He “ha(s) no plans to meet with” Lavrov when they’re both in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on August 4 and 5.
Russian/US relations are the worst in modern memory with no prospect for improvement.
There’s nothing Vladimir Putin, Lavrov or other Russian officials can do to improve things in the interest of world peace.
Lavrov wasted his time by agreeing to discuss various issues with mortal enemy USA’s Blinken.
