Already waging proxy hot war on Russia, dominant Biden regime hardliners and Pelosi appear hellbent to launch more of the same on China.
In cahoots with their US master, foreign ministers of G7 regimes and the so-called EU foreign policy chief proclaimed their commitment to the made-in-the-USA rules-based order.
Endorsing what flagrantly breaches the UN Charter and other international law, they also de facto expressed support for Taiwanese independence — thumbing their nose at China.
And they unjustifiably accused Beijing of “aggressive military activity in the Taiwan Strait (sic).”
And they falsely pretended no change in US-led support for One China — ignoring that the empire of lies and forever wars abandoned the policy years ago.
They also pretended to support world peace and stability — ignoring how Western vassals ally with US aggression on invented enemies time and again by hot and/or other means.
On Wednesday, China’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Hua Chunying, once again stressed the following:
“There is only one China in the world, and Taiwan is part of China.”
“The (PRC) is the sole legal government representing the entire China.”
“This is at the heart of the one-China principle and also a universal consensus of the international community and a basic norm in international relations.”
“A total of 181 countries, including the US, established diplomatic ties with China on the basis of the one-China principle.”
It’s inviolable.
Yet hegemon USA virtually abandoned it in virtual support of Taiwanese independence.
Pelosi’s recklessly dangerous visit to Taipei was a show of support for what risks confrontation with China.
The empire of lies bears full responsibility for escalating tensions that could boil over with China.
If global war 3.0 erupts in Europe, the Asia/Pacific and/or Middle East, it’ll be made-in-the-USA.
The Biden regime and undemocratic Dem-controlled Congress are recklessly pushing things in this direction.
Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies/senior editor of China’s official People’s Daily, Ding Gang, called Pelosi’s provocative visit to Taiwan “a turning point in China’s US strategy,” adding:
“(C)ontainment of China” is official US policy.
Driven by bipartisan hostility toward the country, Taiwan is used as a platform for US war on China by other means — ignoring the risk of things turning hot.
Hegemon USA’s policy toward Beijing changed from “containment plus engagement (to) increasingly aggressive.”
China’s policy is “defensive,” said Ding, adding:
“The result is likely to be that China’s defense against US offensive provocations will turn into a strategic counterattack.”
“China does not want to be an enemy of the US.”
“Nor does it want to strategically position the US as such.”
“But if the US strategy is to push China into a hostile position, then China has only one option.”
Separately, China’s official People’s Daily said the following in response to Pelosi’s visit to where neither she and other US officials don’t belong:
Beijing’s “countermeasures” are unfolding on its own timetable.
Pelosi’s Tuesday evening arrival in Taipei clearly showed that hegemon USA’s One China policy no longer exists.
Trump unacceptably launched trade war with China.
Maintaining the same policy, will dominant Biden regime hardliners turn things hot?
Pelosi’s defense of what’s indefensible fell flat.
In response to her imperial arrogance, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman, Dmitry Peskov, said the following:
“Such visits are planned in advance.”
“Scenarios are written for all participants.”
“The roles in them are distributed, the remarks…scrupulously coordinated.”
“There are no internal contradictions between the Biden (regime) and Congress on this issue.”
Like many times before against targeted nations, hegemon USA is “fueling regional tensions…in vain” against an invented adversary able to protect its interests and security effectively.
On Thursday, the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) warned that “provocative action(s) (in breach of the) UN Charter and Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC) (could result in) miscalculation (and) open conflict.”
They also reaffirmed their commitment to One China — along with standing ready to play a “constructive role in facilitating peaceful dialogue (to) deescalate” regional tensions.
The following scholars condemned Pelosi’s provocative Taiwan visit:
University of San Francisco Professor of East Asian Studies, Stephen Roddy, said the following:
“By disregarding the advice of many experts and forging ahead with her plan to visit Taiwan, Pelosi imperiled regional and even global peace.”
“History will judge her very harshly.”
“And we will all pay the price for her shortsightedness.”
Cato Institute senior fellow, Ted Galen Carpenter, said the following:
“US leaders are making the same mistakes concerning the Taiwan issue that they made in dealing with Russia regarding Ukraine.”
The Biden regime’s “tone‐deaf foreign policy team must realize that Beijing is not bluffing.”
A “confrontational approach to Beijing” is doomed to fail.
Paul Tsai China Center at Yale Law School’s Susan Thompson said “Pelosi’s (Taiwan) visit…can’t be construed as in keeping with” a One China policy by the US.
Stanford Center for International Development director, Nicholas Hope, said “(g)oing (to Taiwan) exacerbate(d) the already delicate state of China-US relations.”
It did not serve “the interests of (either) country, nor those of Taiwan.”
Pelosi’s Taiwan visit will likely be remembered as a recklessly dangerous act of imperial arrogance by a spear carrier for the empire of lies and forever wars on invented enemies — along with serving her own political interests.
There’s no ambiguity about one of the most abhorrent figures in US political history.
Noted with thanks. My personal consternation heightens over the evidential direction of US hegemonic (sic) policy (sic). It is flailing; it is flailing.every.single.day. Disaster looms, and it — disaster — may engulf all of humankind, the planet’s fauna, flora, water, soil, air….
