US Saber-Rattling on Parade

On Thursday, so-called Biden regime national security spokesman, John Kirby, was at it again, saying the following:

“We condemn” China’s legitimate right to protect and defend its sovereign territory — what hegemon USA seeks control over.

And this Kirby bald-faced Big Lie, saying:

“(L)ongstanding (US policy supports the) maint(enance) (of) peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait and in the region (sic).”

And this Kirby perversion of reality:

“We will not seek, nor do we want, a crisis (sic).”

And this saber-rattling:

Hegemon USA “will not be deterred from operating in the seas and skies of the Western Pacific” and everywhere else worldwide where it doesn’t belong.

And more of the same, saying:

“We will conduct (provocative and illegal) air and maritime transits through (China’s) Taiwan Strait,” its sovereign territory.

Together with its Western and other vassal states, the empire of lies and forever wars will continue trampling on peace, stability and the rule of law at its discretion.

And this Kirby bald-faced Big Lie:

Saying “nothing changed about our One China policy” ignored its abandonment by hegemon USA years ago.

Pelosi’s provocative arrival in Taipei — and hostile remarks on Chinese territory where she didn’t belong — put an exclamation point on this indisputable reality.

Hegemon USA illegally supports Taiwanese independence while pretending otherwise — fooling no one paying attention.

And this imperial arrogance by Kirby.

Saying “we’re going to defend America’s national security interests and our values” flagrantly violates the sovereign rights of other nations and the rule of law — what the empire of lies long ago abandoned in pursuit of its diabolical aims.

Ahead of Pelosi’s affront to China’s sovereignty, the Ronald Reagan carrier strike group departed from Singapore — en route to the South China Sea and Taiwan Strait where it doesn’t belong.

Provocative Pentagon regional ICBM tests were also scheduled to be conducted.

Defying reality, a US Navy press release falsely claimed that the empire of lies “supports a free and open” Asia/Pacific — what hegemon USA seeks dominion over, along with everywhere else worldwide.

In response days earlier, China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Zhou Lijian, said the following:

“It is clear from this for everyone to see who is the biggest threat to the South China Sea and the Asian region’s peace and stability.”

Timed with Pelosi’s Tuesday arrival in Taipei, the Reagan strike group approached Taiwan in waters between the Philippines and the breakaway island.

At the same time, the USS Tripoli and USS America assault ships were in waters near Okinawa and Sasebo, Japan respectively.

And two US HC-130J Combat King II warplanes, along with accompanying KC-135 stratotankers were deployed from 

Alaska to waters near Taiwan.

All of the above supported Pelosi’s provocation with a show of force.

US Asia/Pacific aerial and maritime forces in South China Sea airspace and waters respectively are also present to counter Beijing’s legitimate military exercises around its sovereign Taiwan territory.

According to China’s Global Times on Friday, the PLA began phase-two of “its large-scale military exercises that completely locked down the island of Taiwan,” adding:

The drills feature “advanced weapons, including long-range rocket artillery, anti-ship ballistic missiles, stealth fighter jets and an aircraft carrier group with a nuclear-powered submarine…”

They also include “realistic tactics (to simulate) a real reunification-by-force operation…”

They’re “demonstrating and honing the PLA’s capabilities to not only (reunite) the island (with the mainland), but also prevent any external interference, including from the US.”

China’s Defense Ministry spokesman, Tan Kefei, stressed that ongoing PLA drills aim to deter collusion between hegemon USA and Taiwan.

While continuing, “18 international air routes and 900 flights scheduled to pass through the Taiwan Strait (were) adjusted due to the drills.”

“Airports in the island canceled 66 flights as of Wednesday.”

And this from China’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Hua Chunying:

As long as US/Taiwanese “secessionist actions (continue), we will not stop displaying our determination to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

According to an unnamed Chinese intelligence source on Thursday, the Reagan carrier strike group “moved away from Taiwan…toward its homeport in Yokosuka, Japan.

Yet according to Kirby on Thursday:

US war secretary Austin ordered the Reagan strike group “to remain in the general area to monitor the situation,” adding:

“They’ll be there a little bit longer than originally planned.”

US warships will also conduct “air and maritime transits through the Taiwan Strait in the next few weeks” — a repeated Pentagon provocation where its forces don’t belong.

These actions aim to intimidate and threaten nations free from US control.

They have nothing to do with “defending freedom of the seas and international law,” as Kirby falsely claimed.

Ongoing PLA drills are scheduled to continue to around midday Sunday local time.

Because of how hegemon USA threatens peace, stability and China’s sovereignty, defensive PLA drills will “become routine.”

A Final Comment

Following her affront to China’s sovereignty, Beijing announced sanctions on Pelosi and her immediate family members — for trampling on the One China principle, along with threatening peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.
