According to the Times on Sunday:
“A drone crashed into a building at the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet in Crimea on Saturday morning” — true enough, then grossly distorted by the following rubbish, saying:
The incident “sen(t) plumes of smoke rising over the port city of Sevastopol…as Ukraine seeks to sow chaos and destruction in territory under Moscow’s firm control (sic).”
Then this rubbish:
“It was not immediately clear who was responsible for the strike (sic).”
“The Ukrainian (regime has not) comment(ed) on specific strikes or operations, saying only that its military is engaged in a campaign to target Russian forces on the peninsula.”
Here’s how Sevastapol’s Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev explained what happened at where Russia’s Black Sea Fleet is headquartered:
On Saturday, a low-flying Ukrainian UAV crashed into the roof of the Black Sea’s HQ building.
It caught fire, causing no significant damage. Nor were there any casualties.
“Unfortunately, (the UAV) was not downed.”
According to Crimean official, Oleg Kryuckov, the aim of drone strikes by the Kiev regime is “not military, but psychological.”
Ukrainian UAVs carry small loads of explosives. They’re unable to cause significant damage.
The NYT account failed to explain the above information, adding the following rubbish instead, saying:
“While the overall impact (Saturday’s UAV incident) on Russia’s military is far from clear (sic), Ukraine’s recent campaign of strikes behind Russian lines has disrupted the peninsula’s sense of security and distance from the war (sic).”
Reality on the ground is worlds apart from the above fake news.
The same goes for falsely claiming that a strike by Ukraine on Russia’s Saki airfield last week “destroyed…eight fighter jets (sic).”
As Russian’s Defense Ministry explained, the Saki airfield strike in western Crimea was responsible for one death, injuring 14 others, and caused minor damage to the facility.
And this Times trash, citing Ukraine’s perversion of reality:
A dozen “Russian vessels are “maneuvering along the Crimean coast, seeking cover (sic),” adding:
The “claim could not be independently confirmed” — because it’s propaganda, not reality.
And this Ukrainian fake news, the Times falsely reporting that its military “shot down four Russian cruise missiles…near Dnipro (sic).”
Traveling at hypersonic speed, nothing in the US/West and Ukraine can intercept and down them.
And this Times fake news:
Nonexistent significant damage to Crimea and other Russian territory by Kiev “is beginning to put domestic political pressure on the Kremlin (sic).”
Falsely claiming that “Russian territory is not safe” is typical hyperbolic Times nonsense.
What its editors should feature is suppressed — that Russia’s liberating SMO is an indisputable triumph, that the heart of Ukraine’s best trained and armed military was largely eliminated.
And what’s gone cannot be replaced over the short and intermediate-term, perhaps not at all.
And this delusion of reality by more buffoon than leader/puppet Zelensky, quoted by the Times, saying:
“One can literally feel in the air of Crimea that the occupation (sic) there is temporary (sic), and Ukraine is returning (sic).”
In a rare example of admitting what’s indisputable, the Times said that attempted strikes by Kiev on Crimea have been “minimal,” followed by this rubbish, saying:
On Saturday, the Zelensky regime paraded what it dubiously called captured Russian tanks on flatbed trucks in downtown Kiev.
The stunt most likely was a public display of a few of what remains of its largely destroyed tank force, likely too battered to be clearly ID’d.
The vast majority of Ukrainian weapons, munitions and equipment have been eliminated by overwhelmingly superior Russian firepower.
Yet the Times and other MSM consistently suppress reality on the ground, featuring fake news instead.
No “disarray” or “instability” in Crimea exists, no “stalling” of Russia’s SMO “on multiple fronts,” no fighting “ground to a standstill (sic).”
An this from an unnamed Pentagon official, saying the following in defiance of reality:
Russian forces are “much more vulnerable than they thought they were (sic),” adding:
The Russian Republic of Crimea — its indisputable sovereign territory — “is Ukraine (sic).”
Hegemon USA is “providing (the regime) with support capability…also intelligence so that they can defend themselves on the territory of Ukraine (sic).”
US support for the illegitimate/coup d’etat-established regime has nothing to do with protecting the territory of Ukraine and its people.
From 2014 to the present time, it’s been all about waging forever war on the Donetsk and Lugansk republics along Russia’s borders.
After Moscow’s liberating SMO began, things began incrementally shifting from US/NATO proxy war toward direct confrontation with the Russian Federation by directing Kiev troops to attack its territory.
Reportedly, dominant Biden regime hardliners will up the stakes further by supplying Kiev with GPS-guided high-precision M982 Excalibur artillery armor-penetrating shells — able to strike targets up to a range of 70 kilometers away.
None of what’s going on will deter Russia from achieving its SMO aims.
It may only prolong things and increase devastating strikes by Russian forces on Ukrainian military targets.
On Sunday, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported the following:
“High-precision long-range sea-based Kalibr missiles destroyed an ammunition depot with missiles for US HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and Western-made anti-aircraft systems near the village of Mayorskoye, Odessa Region.”
On the same day, Russian forces destroyed 6 Ukrainian weapons and ammunition depots, two fuel depots, and a Nazified Right Sector deployment area.
What’s going on after nearly four months continues to be an overwhelmingly one-side battering of Ukraine’s greatly degraded military by Russian forces.
There’s no ambiguity about how things will turn out, with an elephant in the room wild card — the ominous threat of full-scale East/West confrontation, global war 3.0.
That’s where things are heading because of Biden regime recklessness.
While not certain, things may already have crossed a line of no return.
Humanity’s fate hangs in the balance.
