Ukraine Update

On Thursday, Vladimir Putin signed a decree to increase Russian armed forces by 137,000 to  2,039,758, including 1,150,628 servicemen.

The decree becomes effective on January 1, 2023, replacing an earlier one that took effect on January 1, 2018.

According to Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, the number of Russian contract servicemen at the end of 2015 reached 352,000.

For the first time, the total exceeded the number enlisted by conscription. 

Russia’s Defense Ministry intends an increase in the number of contract servicemen to 475,600 by 2025.

The move is defensive in response to hegemon USA’s forever proxy war on Russia by use of expendable Ukrainian cannon fodder troops.

Vladimir Putin, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu and other Russian officials know that what’s going on poses a major risk to the nation’s security — notably by potentially crossing the line to direct East/West confrontation.

Throughout 2022, US/Western propaganda war on Russia has been more intense than any previous time throughout the post-WW II period.

Polls show that state-sponsored/MSM proliferated managed news misinformation and disinformation work as intended.

The vast majority of Americans are hostile to all things Russia and Vladimir Putin personally.

Their minds have been manipulated to accept fiction as fact.

They’re ignorant about the 2014 US coup in Kiev, replacing democratic governance with Nazified tyrannical rule.

They know little or nothing about events in the run-up to Russia’s liberating SMO — a defensive action according to Article 51 of the UN Charter.

And they’re out of touch with reality on the ground in Donbass, as well as in eastern and southeastern Ukraine, areas liberated from Nazified rule.

Or that when Russian forces arrive in liberated areas, long-suffering residents greet them joyously.

Or that Russia greatly relieved their suffering by providing thousands of tons of vitally needed humanitarian aid — along with going all-out to protect their security from US/NATO-supported Kiev aggression.

Pentagon and CIA dark forces are directing it on the ground in Ukraine and occupied parts of Donetsk.

Along with repeated terror-strikes on the Zaporozhye NPP with intent to release and spread deadly radiation across much of central Europe — wanting Russian falsely blamed for the regime’s war crime — a similar one occurred on Thursday.

As orchestrated and directed by hegemon USA, Ukrainian rockets — with banned cluster munitions — struck a Donetsk chemical plant with intent to release and spread what could seriously harm or kill countless numbers of residents.

What happened caused an electrical fire, extinguished to prevent a chemical release.

It was the regime’s second strike on the plant this month — as ordered by its US master.

No casualties were reported, but reality is clear.

At the discretion of Ukrainian Nazis and their US handlers, similar incidents most likely will occur again, especially more strikes on the Zaporozhye NPP.

At the same time, Russia is wrongfully blamed for Ukrainian crimes of war, against humanity and related atrocities time and again.

Separately on Thursday, an NPP power outage — caused by Ukrainian shelling — followed activation of the plant’s security systems.

Energodar military/civil administration official, Yevgeny Balitski, explained what happened, saying:

“(A)ccording to preliminary information, because of massive shelling by the Ukrainian armed forces, which has continued since last night, fields and undergrowth caught fire.”

“This led to a short-circuit in the grid,” forcing its shutdown for the first time since the plant’s first of 6 nuclear reactors became operational in December 1985.

Separately on Friday, Russia’s embassy in Washington slammed hegemon USA, saying the following:

The Biden regimes’s State Department “continues to disseminate (rubbish) (about alleged Russian) ‘filtration camps’ in the DPR, as well as (phony accusations of its military’s) involvement in the destruction of educational, medical institutions and cultural facilities in the LPR.”

What’s going on is part of the regime’s war on Russia by proxy hot and other means.

There’s no ambiguity about “Russia’s commit(ment) to observing the norms of International Humanitarian Law.”

The embassy once again explained the reality of Kiev’s cross-border terror-shelling of Donbass residential areas since April 2014.

Instead of denouncing its aggression, the empire of lies and forever wars on invented enemies orchestrated and directed what went on — wanting perpetual conflict along Russia’s borders to destabilize the region and jeopardize its security.

On Thursday, the Biden regime’s State Department continued its war of words on Russia, punctuated by its customary litany of bald-faced Big Lies, a US specialty, saying the following:

Hegemon USA stands “united with (Nazified) Ukraine.”

And this perversion of reality:

Russia’s liberating SMO aims “dismantle Ukraine as a geopolitical entity and dissolve it from the world map (sic).”

And, of course, the Biden regime falsely blames Russia for repeated strikes on the Zaporozhye NPP and other terror attacks by Ukrainian Nazis.

US dark forces are recklessly pushing things toward direct confrontation with Russia.

The risk of war between the world’s dominant nuclear powers was never more ominously possible than now.
