The self-styled newspaper of record is a national disgrace.
On major world and national issues, nothing it reports can be taken at face value.
Banning journalism as it should be in service to wealth, power, privilege and hegemon USA’s war on humanity at home and worldwide, it features Big Lies and mass deception over truth and full disclosure on issues mattering mowt.
Its latest fake news edition followed the familiar pattern.
Regime troops “liberated…two towns in the south (sic),” it roared.
Its source: puppet Zelensky, an exposed serial liar.
No “towns” liberated by Russian forces were retaken by battered and beaten Ukrainian troops at any time since Moscow’s SMO began.
During the regime’s foiled offensive in what Kiev calls its southern region, the only areas taken by its troops were a couple of virtually deserted villages of no strategic importance, nothing else.
In its customary fashion, the Times hyperventilated over nothing.
More of the same followed by quoting Zelensky’s defiance of reality claim, saying:
“We will liberate all our lands (sic), all our people (sic).”
Areas deNazified by Russian forces will stay this way.
The vast majority of its liberated people want no part of returning to the scourge of tyrannical Nazi occupation.
Since Ukraine’s highly touted offensive began last week, Russian forces killed and wounded thousands of its troops, along with destroying most regime weapons, munitions and equipment.
On Monday, Kherson Region official, Kirill Stremousov, said the following:
The regime suffered “major losses” during its attempted offensive.
“Kherson was, is and will be a Russian city.”
“All (regime) operations and counterattacks failed.”
Overpowering Russian firepower smashed them.
On Monday, Russia’s Defense Ministry updated the toll on Kiev’s military since the liberating SMO began.
Russian forces destroyed 287 Ukrainian combat aircraft, 152 helicopters, 1,877 UAVs, 372 surface-to-air missile systems, thousands of rockets, 4,822 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, 825 multiple rocket launchers, 3,368 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 5,304 special military motor vehicles.”
The large-scale toll on Ukraine’s military is why puppet Zelensky and other regime officials keep asking the US/West for more weapons et al.
Yet according to Times trash, the regime continues “trying to weaken Russian positions in Kherson (sic)” — despite consistently failing, it left unexplained.
Nor did regime troops “dr(ive) the Russians from around Kiev and other cities in the north (sic).”
The Times and other MSM continue repeating the long ago debunked Big Lie.
Nor were Russian forces “isolated” anywhere in Ukraine or Donbass.
Nor have “Russian ammunition depots (been) repeatedly…pounded (or) starve(d) (of) munitions and supplies (sic)…forc(ing) them to retreat of surrender (sic).”
Nor have their been “Ukrainian advances” anywhere against highly effective Russian firepower.
And what the Times and other MSM fake news called “one of the most significant confrontations to date,” failed to explain that it fizzled almost before it began.
And this Times trash:
Russia’s 127th Regiment of (its) 1st Army Corp refused to fight (sic).”
Its source: Zelensky regime fake news.
And claiming that “both sides (suffered) heavy losses” applies to one side alone.
Which one needs no elaboration.
It’s been this way throughout Russia’s liberating SMO.
And this Times fake news:
“Russian shelling…over the weekend…killed civilians in Donetsk (sic).”
Since the US 2014 Maidan coup in Kiev, thousands of Donbass civilians were killed — by regime Nazis.
Donetsk News Agency reports explain daily numbers casualties caused by Ukrainian cross-border terror-shelling — falsely blamed on Russia.
And so-called “Ukrainian military intelligence” cited by the Times is all fake news propaganda all the time.
Separately according to the Biden regime’s State Department:
The Biden regime’s envoy to Russia, John Sullivan, stepped down from his post and left Moscow on Sunday for retirement from public life.
Until a new envoy is named, deputy chief of mission in Moscow, Elizabeth Rood, “will assume duties as charge d’affaires,” an embassy statement said.
A Final Comment
In its latest fake news report on Sunday, the so-called neocon-infested Institute for the Study of War once again turned reality on its head as follows, saying:
The virtually defeated “Ukrainian counteroffensive is making verifiable progress in the south and the east (sic).”
“Ukrainian forces are advancing along several axes in western Kherson (sic).”
Ukrainian forces are “work(ing) to starve the Russians of necessary supplies (sic), disrupt their command and control (sic), and weaken their morale (sic).”
The above rubbish doesn’t rise to the level of bad fiction.
Reality on the ground is worlds apart from the ISW’s bald-faced Big Lies.
