MSM Propaganda Machine in High Gear as Referendum Voting Begins to Join Russia

There’s no ambiguity about the UN Charter right of self-determination afforded all people everywhere.

Not according undemocratic US/Western regimes and their MSM co-conspirators.

Ignoring the legal right of Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye residents to join Russia, the Biden regime’s so-called national security council strategic communications coordinator, Kirby, falsely called the process begun Friday “sham referendums (sic),” adding:

According to nonexistent “surveys,  Ukrainians do not want to be part of Russia (sic).”

And this from puppet Zelensky last month:

If referendums to join Russia are held, “any future possibility of negotiations with Russia will be closed (sic).”

In hindsight, it’s clear that only the illusion of their short-term opening existed.

Puppet Zelensky’s US master forbids conflict resolution or other good faith diplomatic outreach to Russia in favor of perpetual war.

According to state-controlled Ukrainian propaganda media in early September, referendum may not take place because of “failures of the Russian army (sic).”

And this from the so-called Voice of America, part of hegemon USA’s global fake news propaganda operation, saying the following on referendum voting:

“(A)ny declaration (of joining) Russia would not be recognized by (Nazified) Ukraine…the US and its Western” vassals.

The Biden regime’s so-called national security advisor, Sullivan, reinvented the rule of law to fit hegemon USA’s imperial aims, falsely claiming the following as VOA explained it, saying:

“(R)eferendums (to join Russia)  violate the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity (sic).”

The UN Charter right of self-determination is regarded as jus cogens, a higher or compelling law.

People everywhere have the right to choose their sovereignty and political status with no outside interference.

There’s nothing remotely “sham” about referendum voting begun today.

All the huffing, puffing and hyperventilating otherwise by US/Western officials and their MSM press agents won’t stop the process or prevent residents of Donbass and Zaporozhye/Kherson Regions from joining Russia.

Earlier this week before voting began, Russia’s Security Council Deputy Chairman, Dmitry Medvedev, said the following:

What’s take place from Sept. 23 – 27 will “restore historic justice.”

It’ll “completely change” Russia’s path forward.

“After they are held and new territories are taken into Russia’s fold, a geopolitical transformation of the world will become irreversible.”

“An encroachment on the territory of Russia is a crime that would warrant any means of self-defense.” 

New territories joining Russia will be constitutionally affirmed so no future Russian leader may reverse their newly gained sovereignty.

“That is why (US/Western and Kiev regimes) fear these referendums.”

“That is why they must be held.”

In its latest fake news edition, the NYT reinvented reality as follows, roaring:

“Moscow began orchestrating votes Friday in territories (sic) it” liberated from Nazified control.

What the Times claimed is “widely seen in the West as a sham (sic) to culminate in annexation (sic) is democracy as it should be in action — what’s virtually banned throughout the US/West.

And this Times trash:

“Huge numbers of people fled areas that Russia controls…(sic).”

(R)eferendums are taking place against a backdrop of oppression (sic).”

What the Times called “evidence of war crimes” in Ukraine and Donbass were committed by Kiev regime Nazis, clearly not Russian forces.

More Times trash:

“Minors” in Donetsk were urged to vote (sic).”

DPR “workers (are) forced to vote under threat of losing their jobs.”

The Times’ source for the above fake news? 

Who else but notorious liars, unindicted Nazis in the puppet Zelensky regime.

What the Times falsely called Russian “oppression” is the universal right of self-determination playing out in real time.

And ignored by US/Western regimes and their MSM press agents is that the overwhelming majority of residents where voting is underway yearn to be Russian citizens.

A propaganda blitzkrieg otherwise can’t change reality on the ground.

Separately, the Times turned reality on its head about Vladimir Putin’s announced mobilization of 300,000 reservists, ones with prior military service alone, saying:

“Some (Russian) men decided it was best to head for the borders (sic).”

Claiming “protests erupted” in response to Putin’s mobilization announcement failed to explain there were scattered few.

Nor were attempts made to stop the free expression of protesters.

And this Times trash:

“Military-age men (sic) clogged airports and border crossings trying to flee (sic).”

Ignored by the Times are videos on social media.

They show large numbers of patriotic Russians queuing up voluntarily at recruiting stations on Thursday — the day after Putin’s address to the nation.

More Times trash:

“(Y)oung professionals with no military experience (are) being called up (sic).”

And more of the same:

So-called (armchair) military analysts and Western officials “predict(ed) that Putin would be forced to impose a draft at some point (sic), given his army’s severe losses in Ukraine (sic).”

Deep into its fake news report not noticed by most readers, the Times admitted in a single sentence that “no…signs of a nationwide anti-(mobilization) movement emerg(ed).”

Small handfuls of people alone engaged in scattered, nonviolent protests — without government interference.

Claims by the Times of over 1,000 arrests were fake news, its specialty.

Overall, the public response to Putin’s mobilization announcement was largely positive.

Nor were there signs of economic weakening in response to the call-up.

The Russian ruble closed higher on Thursday. Overall, it’s been stable throughout most of 2022.

Yet MSM reports by the Times and other US/Western regime press agents read like Russia is on the ropes, Kiev Nazis and conscripts are advancing, their triumph just a matter of time.

Reality on the ground is worlds apart different from virtually everything reported about all things Russia and Ukraine throughout the US/West by official sources and MSM co-conspirators.
