Russian Straight Talk on Democracy in Action and US Sabotage of Nord Stream I and II Gas Pipelines to Europe

On Friday at the Security Council, Russia’s UN envoy, Vassily Nebenzia, set the record straight as in all his public remarks.

There’s no ambiguity about the UN Charter right of self-determination for everyone everywhere.

Huffing, puffing and fuming rants otherwise by hegemon USA, its Western vassals, their MSM press agents and Ukrainian Nazis can’t change inviolable international law.

Nebenzia slammed the US-dominated West for “hit(ting) bottom.”

On Friday, Russia vetoed a diabolical Biden regime resolution, condemning the Russian Federation in support of Nazified Ukraine.

Backed by US-controlled Albania, Ghana, Ireland, Kenya, Norway, and the UAE, along with permanent members France and Britain, abstaining were Brazil, China, Gabon and India.

Nebenzia stressed the following:

“We know no cases when the Security Council adopted a resolution directly condemning one of its member states.”

“Such hostile steps by Western (regimes renounce) interact(ion) and cooperat(ion) in the Council, and reject best practices and expertise that took years to elaborate.”

“This is nothing more than a low-grade provocation, the purpose of which is well known.”

Their ruling regimes breached the UN Charter for failing to recognize the right of Donbass and Kherson/Zaporozhye residents to join Russia.

Referendum voting was “in full compliance with norms and principles of international law, no matter how hard (the US-dominated West and imperial tool Guterres)  try to prove the opposite…(reflecting) blatant double standards.”

The US and its Western vassals rejected “constructive amendments which would have received support from many delegations present here.”

Once again, they showed support for perpetual war over diplomatic resolution to restore peace and stability to central Europe.

The draconian US resolution was put together in secret “bilateral consultations, so Council members could not see what other members proposed,” Nebenzia explained.

The empire of lies and forever wars on invented enemies used the Security Council “as a warm-up before the main show in the General Assembly.”

“In the GA,” hegemon USA will pressure, threaten, intimidate and otherwise strong-arm UN member-states to support what demands rejection and condemnation.

Separately, Nebenzia commented on sabotage to Russia’s Nord Stream I and II gas pipelines to Europe, saying:

Whatever investigation is conducted to lay blame for what happened on who’s responsible, based on indisputable facts, cannot “exclud(e) Russia(’s) involvement.”

At this time, “(t)he General Prosecutor’s Office of Russia initiated proceedings under the criminal code article about acts of international terrorism.”

A “(p)reliminary investigation is underway,” adding:

Consider what’s known.

In February before Russia’s liberating SMO began, the fake Biden said the following:

“If Russia invades, that means tanks and troops crossing the border of Ukraine again, then there will be…there will be no longer Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it.”

“I promise you we will be able to do it.”

In June, US-dominated NATO BALTOPS military exercises took place in Baltic Sea waters.

While ongoing, their forces “test(ed)  unmanned underwater vehicles.”

When exercises ended, the USS Kearsarge assault ship remained in Baltic Sea waters where drills took place.

Its helicopters began “patrolling areas around Bornholm as early as in August,” Nebenzia explained, adding:

Their “flight line…coincided with the pipeline route.”

“(T)his is open data on geolocation of sea and air transport which is collected on the basis of the transponders’ signal.”

Hegemon USA “did not conceal its presence in the area and completed its maneuvers in an exhibitory and ostentatious way.”

After underwater explosions ruptured Nord Stream I and I in four places, the Polish regime’s so-called foreign minister, Radek Sikorsk, “posted a photo from the explosion site on his twitter feed… compliment(ing) the US for this sabotage,” saying:

“Thank you USA.”

“There’s no shortage of pipeline capacity for taking gas from Russia to Western Europe (sic), including Germany.” 

“Nord Stream’s only logic was for Putin to be able to blackmail or wage war on Eastern Europe with impunity (sic).” 

On Sept. 29, he deleted his Russia-bashing remarks, “sa(ying) more than he should have,” Nebenzia noted, adding: 

“Sikorski’s spouse, Anne Applebaum, is a” notorious CIA-connected WaPo propagandist. 

When Nord Stream I and II were sabotaged, a gas pipeline from Norway to Poland began operating — what’s able to deliver around 10% of what Russia can supply to Europe if its damaged pipelines can be repaired.

Nebenzia also stressed what’s clear and unequivocal, saying:

“In any investigation, you first need to identify who would benefit from the situation, or, as the investigators put it, who had the motive and the opportunity to commit criminal wrongdoing.”

There’s no ambiguity about who benefits and who’s harmed.

If operating, Nord Stream I and II  would contribute greatly to European energy security.

This reality “was repeatedly underscored at the level of the highest officials of the EU and its member states,” Nebenzia explained.

European economies are greatly harmed for lack of what Russia cannot supply while Nord Stream I and II are inoperable.

And while down, they’re providing no revenues to the Russian Federation.

In stark contrast, hegemon USA benefits greatly from what happened.

Its “LNG suppliers (are) celebrat(ing) a (large) increase of LNG deliveries to Europe,” said Nebenzia, adding:

“In political terms, the last pillar that maintained European energy independence was ruined.”

“Amidst the energy crisis, European manufacturing facilities are being relocated to the US…” 

“(E)verything that consolidated Europe has been accumulating and developing for decades” is lost. 

“The people of Europe will be left face-to-face with their problems.” 

In the US, “nobody cares that a long, dark, and cold winter is looming for the European continent” and its people. 

During Friday’s Security Council session, Nebenzia asked the Biden regime’s so-called deputy UN envoy, Prescott, the following:

“Can you confirm, here and now, that your country has nothing to do with this sabotage?”

He defied reality by denying US responsibility. 

Nebenzia added the following:

It’s “obvious that sabotage of such scale and complexity cannot be carried out by ordinary terrorists.” 

“We consider the assault (on) the Nord Stream pipelines (to be) premeditated sabotage of Russia’s key energy infrastructure facility.”

“Such attack could not have been carried out without involvement of state or state-controlled entities.”

“We will surely identify all who were complicit in this sabotage.”
