Russia launched its liberating SMO defensively in response to years of US-orchestrated and directed aggression by Ukraine against Donbass civilians.
The right to self-defense is inviolable under international law, including under Article 51 of the UN Charter.
It prohibits one nation from attacking another except in self-defense, stating:
“Nothing in the present Charter shall impair the inherent right of individual or collective self-defense if an armed attack occurs against a Member of the UN, until the Security Council has taken measures necessary to maintain international peace and security.”
Because hegemon USA undermined years of good faith Russian diplomacy to end Ukraine’s aggression on Donbass, its Defense Ministry launched an SMO because no other option existed to restore peace.
Yet in Bucharest, Romania on day-two of NATO’s meeting, the US-controlled EU proposed the establishment of a specialized tribunal to hold Russia responsible for Kiev’s war crimes.
One of many unindicted EU war criminals for supporting perpetual war on Russia by use of Ukrainian foot soldiers, EC head ver der Leyen called for establishing a UN imperial tool tribunal to “prosecute Russia (for the) crime of aggression” — committed by Ukrainian Nazis with full support and encouragement of US/Western regimes.
“We are ready to start working with the international community to get the broadest international support possible for this specialized court,” she hyperventilated.
The empire of lies and forever wars supports what’ll have no legitimacy if established.
So does puppet Zelensky.
Ignoring the scourge of Nazi-infested Ukraine, its years of aggression against Donbass and his unfitness to serve in any public capacity — along with the reality of a lost cause against Russia’s vastly superior military — he sounds more delusional than earlier.
War crimes of every shape and kind reflect how hegemon USA-dominated NATO regimes and Kiev Nazis operate, clearly not Russia.
A war crimes tribunal indeed is needed — to hold their culpable officials accountable for what no one should tolerate.
In Bucharest with other foreign ministers of the war-making alliance, interventionist Blinken met on the sidelines with his so-called Ukrainian counterpart, Kuleba, saying:
US/NATO regimes pledge continued military aid to Ukrainian Nazis — despite increasingly exhausting what they’re able to supply.
Yet no matter how much in the way of weapons, munitions and equipment is poured into Ukraine, reality on the ground remains unchanged.
Russian firepower is smashing Ukraine’s made-in-the-USA war machine.
On Tuesday, retired US Army Col. Douglas Macgregor explained the following:
Throughout the post-WW II period, when hegemon USA went to war — always against invented enemies — its ruling regimes and military expected “fighting (to be) short and decisive.”
Things didn’t turn out this way in Southeast Asia, Afghanistan and Syria.
“The latest victim of this (harebrained) mentality is (Nazi-infested) Ukraine.”
Senior Pentagon and Biden regime officials greatly underestimated Russia’s resolve, its ability to withstand US/Western sanctions war and its overwhelming military advantage over Ukraine.
They “ignored Russia’s strategic advantages — (its) geographic depth, almost limitless natural resources, high social cohesion, and military-industrial capacity to rapidly scale up its military power” as needed, Macgregor explained.
From day-one of its SMO to the present time, there was never any doubt about Russia’s ability to defeat Ukraine’s made-in-the-USA war machine.
Systematically destroying it along with eliminating a generation of Ukrainian youths, Russia is transforming the territory of Ukraine into a barren wasteland — as much as it wishes to achieve its publicly stated aims.
The US-installed regime’s “power grids, transportation networks, communications infrastructure, fuel production, and ammunition storage sites are being systematically destroyed” by Russian firepower, Macgregor noted, adding:
“Millions of Ukrainians continue to flee the war zone in pursuit of safety, with ominous consequences for Europe’s societies and economies.”
Moscow wants them driven cross-border so European regimes will have to cope with the mess they made by allying with hegemon USA’s war on Russia.
Yet the Biden regime, complicit Dems, European vassals and their MSM press agents conceal reality on the ground from their people — what they’ve consistently done since Russia’s liberating SMO was launched.
Ukraine is Nazi-infested, what followers of independent media understand.
The US-installed regime “is not winning and will not win this war,” Macgregor stressed.
“Months of heavy Ukrainian casualties, resulting from an endless series of pointless attacks against Russian defenses…dangerously weakened (its) forces.”
Slowly the worm perhaps is turning on the continent.
EU regimes self-inflicted harm by allying with hegemon USA’s war on Russia.
Their people are “growing more disenchanted with” what’s going on
“European populations are openly questioning the veracity of (MSM) claims about Russian and (US) aims in Europe.”
“The influx of millions of (Ukrainian) refugees…along with…trade disputes, profiteering from US arms sales, and high energy prices risk turning European public opinion against” hegemon USA and its European vassals.
After launching its SMO as a defensive action to end Ukraine’s aggression on Donbass, Russia changed strategy to smash the regime’s US-created war machine.
The Kremlin and Defense Ministry intend “to remove any doubt (throughout the US/West) that Russia (intends to pursue) victory on its own terms.”
It intends “to create a new territorial status quo commensurate with (its) national security needs.
A same-day article discusses Russia’s intention as explained by its commander-in-chief of operations in Ukraine, General
Sergey Surovikin, a figure committed to victory on terms established by the Defense Ministry, approved by the Kremlin.
Macgregor explained that over half a million “Russian combat forces are assembled in southern Ukraine, Western Russia, and Belarus.”
Their growing “numbers already include 1,000 rocket artillery systems, thousands of tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones, plus 5,000 armored fighting vehicles, including at least 1,500 tanks, hundreds of manned fixed-wing attack aircraft, helicopters, and bombers.”
Ukraine’s made-in-the-USA war machine is no match against its overpowering and tactical superiority if unleashed as needed.
Russia is systematically destroying Ukraine and weakening US-dominated NATO at the same time.
Their ruling regimes greatly miscalculated Russia’s military might and ability to achieve its aims.
So they’re learning the hard way, including about the end of hegemon USA’s unipolar moment.
Multilateralism replaced it, and there’s no going back to what’s gone.
