Biden/Harris Press Agent NYT Mass Deception

The record of the self-styled newspaper of record NYT shames what journalism the way it’s supposed to be is all about.

Throughout campaign 2020, the Times featured one-sided support for Biden/Harris — notably by mass deception, suppressing their dark side while inventing reasons to bash Trump.

There’s plenty about him to criticize, the same true about at least most past US presidents and vast majority of congressional members.

Journalism is supposed to be fair and balanced, featuring truth and full disclosure at all times.

According to the Ethical Journalism Network, “5 principles of ethical journalism” include:

1. Truth and accuracy

2. Independence

3. Fairness and Impartiality

4. Humanity — doing no harm to the rights and welfare of others.

5. Accountability

Founded in 1986, “media watchdog group” Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR) “monitors the US news media for ‘inaccuracy, bias, and censorship’ and advocates for greater diversity of perspectives in news reporting.”

There’s never a shortage of establishment media misinformation and disinformation to criticize — notably by the NYT, a lying machine betrayer of the public trust.

Its mass deception for Biden/Harris is undisguised and glaring.

In its latest edition, the Times once again turned truth on its head, falsely claiming the following:

As things now stand — though not official or certain — Biden is president-selected, clearly not elected.

The Times pretended otherwise, falsely calling him “president-elect (sic).”

He did not win “a decisive victory over…Trump.” He lost to the incumbent if votes are tabulated honestly — polar opposite what’s gone on.

Its editors lied, claiming he’ll “move swiftly to restore dignity to the badly sullied image of the United States; respect for the professionals of America’s diplomatic, intelligence and military services; and a more predictable, nuanced and sympathetic approach to foreign relations (sic).”

If Biden/Harris replace Trump in January, the following is clear and unequivocal:

They’ll assume office from brazen fraud, some of the worst in US history, making them illegitimate.

They’ll continue longstanding dirty business as usual continuity without missing a beat.

They’ll target all independent nations free from US control for regime change — waging endless wars by hot and other means.

Their domestic agenda will prioritize corporate empowerment, force-fed neoliberal harshness, and police state crackdowns on nonbelievers.

They’ll perhaps mandate unacceptable forever social distancing and mask-wearing, along with mass vaxxing with hazardous to human health, inadequately tested, rushed to market needle-jabs that will do far more harm than any potential good and at an inflated cost.

They’ll likely replicate the worst of Obama/Biden’s tenure, adding more destructive policies of their own.

For the vast majority of Americans, there’s nothing positive to look forward to with them in high office — just the opposite.

The Times falsely claimed they’ll “recommit the United States to exposing human rights abuses wherever they arise (sic)” — ignoring that far and away, the US is the most egregious abuser of fundamental rights and the rule of law on the world stage.

It’s highly unlikely that they’ll “seek ways to revive the nuclear deal with Iran.”

They’ll demand unacceptable changes to weaken Iran militarily — what clearly its government will reject.

It’s unclear if they’ll “extend…New START,” the last remaining nuclear arms control agreement between Russia and the US.

Most likely, they’ll demand unreasonable concessions to be rejected, not accepted.

Saying Biden may “terminate American support for Saudi Arabia’s terrible war in Yemen” ignores reality.

Launched by Bush/Cheney in October 2001, it’s America’s war.

It raged on their watch, was escalated by Obama/Biden for eight years, then more-so by Trump during his tenure.

For their own interests, the Saudis partner with US aggression against regional countries — notably in Syria and Yemen currently.

There are no “welcome signs” if a Biden/Harris regime succeeds the current one, things likely to worsen ahead.

From what’s known about figures being considered to infest their regime, it’ll be same old, same old all over again — the usual array of warmongers, corporatists, and other supporters of privilege over the general welfare.

The Times falsely claimed that a Biden/Harris regime will “withdraw from foreign wars and be reluctant to enter new conflicts (sic).”

Firm policy is highly likely to be polar opposite.

Permanent wars reflect longstanding US policy — to remain unchanged if Biden/Harris succeed Trump.

The Times and other establishment media consistently cheerlead them.

They’re militantly hostile toward independent governments free from US control — notably in China, Russia, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.

In its latest pro-Biden/Harris puff piece, the Times (as it’s done before) falsely called Venezuelan President Maduro a “dictator” — a bald-faced Big Lie about the hemisphere’s leading democrat.

The Times is a lying machine instrument of mass deception — its rubbish featured in daily editions on domestic and geopolitical issues mattering most.
