Russian Foreign Ministry on Ukraine and Other Issues

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova (MZ below) explained that reality in US-colonized Ukraine “continues going from bad to worse (sic),” adding:

Much the same applies to US-orchestrated and directed Kiev aggression on Donbass.

Since mid-December, “the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission recorded almost 7,000 ceasefire violations, which is five times more than in December 2020.”

“This means that approximately every three minutes, a shot or explosion posing threat to people’s lives takes place in” the Donbass Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.

“This is about the escalation of tensions.”

“How is it that…Western (regimes and MSM) fail to understand…who stands behind all this.”

Instead of observing binding Minsk I and II conflict resolution agreements, US-colonized Ukraine is hellbent for waging forever war with no end of it in prospect.

The Zelensky regime increased its (US-NATO funded) “war budget by 20%.”

The Biden regime and US NATO vassal states continue pouring heavy weapons and munitions into Ukraine for war-making.

Thousands of US and other Western forces are in Ukraine — training and directing its troops for aggression.

Based on Russian intelligence, MZ explained that about “10,000 (Western) instructors includ(e) 4,000” Pentagon and CIA elements.

Their presence is all about perpetuating forever war since April 2014 over resolution for regional peace.

MZ stressed what’s indisputable.

US and other Western forces in Ukraine “are instigators” of war-making.

They’re “directly in charge of the events that are unfolding in Donbass before our eyes.”

They’re offered fast-track Ukrainian citizenship to unjustifiably justify their presence.

The puppet Zelensky regime not only wants their presence legalized, it’s also going all-out kill Minsk I and II as ordered by its higher power in Washington.

Its phony claim about seeking peace is debunked by reality on the ground.

MZ stressed that there’s “no progress” toward conflict resolution.

Kiev’s so-called “ ‘ten steps’ towards unblocking the peace process are in fact part of the Minsk Agreements,” said MZ, adding:

“Kiev continues subverting the agreement’s implementation in every possible way.”

“These are not 10 steps forward but rather 100 steps back.”

The Zelensky regime allied with the Russophobic US agenda.

It includes fake news about an impending Russian invasion that doesn’t exist.

Kiev officials earlier admitted that Russia poses no threat to Ukraine.

Then as ordered by Biden regime hardliners they claimed otherwise — ignoring reality.

Phony claims weren’t enough so they began “inspect(ing) bomb shelters and test(ing) alarm systems” over nothing.

They began digging ditches in nonexistent “most threatened areas.”

They erected “barbed wire at the prompting of former Ukrainian leaders.”

“Now only the digging of (more) trenches remains.”

“I don’t know what they decided to bury there, probably, the remains of their conscience.”

What’s going on with likely more of the same to continue for some time is all about diverting and distracting internal attention from dismal political, social and economic conditions faced by the great majority of Ukrainians.

Fascist tyranny mistreats them, especially Russian-speaking citizens.

Endless Kiev aggression against Donbass “is a disgrace for modern Europe,” MZ stressed.

Hegemon USA and NATO vassal regimes that “engineered” it since 2014 “relieved themselves of all commitments, guarantees and responsibilities.”

Since the Obama/Biden’s 2014 Maidan coup, Kiev’s puppet rule “whitewash(ed) Nazism” while transforming the country into “a hotbed of neo-Nazism,” MZ explained, adding:

As orchestrated by its US master, Ukraine became “a forge of militants with the dominant neo-Nazi ideology.”

One time around for the scourge of Nazism wasn’t enough for hegemon USA and hardline Ukrainian extremists.

So its second time around festers in Europe’s heartland with Western support.

Long-forgotten was Soviet Russia’s liberation of Kiev from Nazi control in November 1943 — along with liberating the entire country.

Long ago Russian heroes of Ukraine have been reinvented as imaginary enemies.

On December 16, the UN General Assembly passed its annual resolution on “Combating Glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to fueling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance.”

Supported by 130 UN member states, hegemon USA and colonized Ukraine alone voted against the resolution.

Another 51 countries abstained, including US-colonized EU ones, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Voting no or abstaining expressed support for the scourge of Nazism, along with its hate-mongering, war-making ideology.

MZ said the annual vote comes at a time of “extremely dangerous manifestations of neo-Nazism and racial discrimination, the ideology of hatred and the theory of racial superiority, as well as the importance of preserving the historical memory and truth about the causes and results of WWII.”

“The resolution condemns any attempts to justify and glorify the Nazi movement and former SS members, including former members of the Waffen SS organization, which was declared criminal for its activities at the Nuremberg Trials, as well as the so-called war against monuments erected in honor of the Red Army soldiers and fighters against Nazism.”

“Initiated by Russia, this resolution is always supported by a large number of UN member states, which is proof of the importance of the issues addressed in it.”

Separately on resumed Vienna JCPOA talks, MZ that Russia’s position on the landmark agreement is clear.

“(T)here is no alternative” to what’s binding under international law.

The Trump regime illegally “pulled out arbitrarily” — followed by E3 vassal states Britain, France and Germany.

Multiple rounds of Vienna talks since April accomplished nothing because Biden regime hardliners and the E3 have no intention of observing what’s binding under SC Res. 2231.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said US/Western “good will” is needed to restore the JCPOA.

There’s none of it in Washington toward nations free from its control like Iran.
