Putin and Macron Agree to Halt Kiev’s Aggression?

On Sunday, Vladimir Putin spoke to his French counterpart Macron by phone, an Elysee Palace statement saying:

They agreed on “the need to f(ind) a diplomatic solution to the ongoing crisis (along the contact line between Ukraine and Donbass) and to do everything to achieve one.”

“(I)n the coming days,” Sergey Lavrov and his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian will discuss the issue.

Putin and Macron also reportedly agreed on holding Normandy Format talks with representatives of its member states: France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine.

Le Drian was quoted saying that France is “taking necessary initiatives to trigger deescalation.”

Ignoring aggression by Ukraine on Donbass, a Kiev statement dubiously suggested a “readiness for a peaceful settlement (sic).”

It requires a halt in its escalated war on Donbass.

Kremlin deputy head Dmitry Kozak said Russia, France, Germany and Ukraine “agreed that the ceasefire (in eastern Ukraine) must be maintained by all the parties in line with the (Minsk) accords.”

Zelensky regime foreign minister Kuleba ignored reality on the ground, saying:

“Ukraine does not plan and does not conduct any offensive military operations, provocations, sabotage, and shelling” cross-border (sic).

“This is not what we are doing or planning to do. We don’t want war. We want peace (sic).”

Launched in April 2014 and waged intermittently since that time, a permanent state of war has existed between Ukraine and Donbass as planned, orchestrated and directed by hegemon USA.

Since last week, Kiev greatly escalated aggression cross-border.

Kuleba lied about wanting peace.

Waging preemptive war against nonbelligerent Donbass is all about shunning the alternative.

There’s no ambiguity about Russia’s peace and stability priorities.

Macron’s France is subservient to hegemon USA’s imperial aims as a NATO member.

What’s happening between Kiev and Donbass was made-in-the-USA.

As long as dominant Biden regime hardliners want war, peace will be off the table.

According to Tass, Lavrov and Le Drian will speak by phone on Monday.

On Saturday, deputy head of Donetsk’s People’s Militia Eduard Basurin slammed the Zelensky regime as follows, saying:

With intent “to instigate panic among (DPR residents) during the organized evacuation (of women, children, the elderly and others to Russia for safe haven), the enemy made an attempt to spread leaflets in some neighborhoods of Donetsk,” adding:

“We continue to register attempts at subversions by Ukrainian armed units on the territory of the republic with the purpose to sow fear and panic among the republic’s peaceful citizens.”

Intense cross-border shelling continues.

Sergey Lavrov slammed cross-border aggression by Kiev, saying:

“As for the situation at the line of engagement in Donbass, we are very alarmed by the reports in the recent days, literally yesterday and the day before yesterday, of a sharp increase in shelling (by Kiev) using weapons that are prohibited by the Minsk Accords.”

“In relation to this, I would like to highlight the fact that the Kiev regime has been blatantly violating its obligations for several years and every time when additional measures to ensure a ceasefire are coordinated, it sabotages them.”

At the same time, it “strive(s) to camouflage” aggression by pretending to be victimized.

As for OSCE monitors of events on the ground, “in every way (they’re)  trying to gloss over those issues that point to the culpability of Ukraine’s armed forces.”

Separately on Sunday, robotized boob in Brussels stooge to US imperial interests at NATO, Stoltenberg, surfaces to recite lines scripted for him by his higher power in Washington, pompously dripping arrogance during his recitation.

Once again reinventing reality on the ground, he falsely turned truth on its head, saying:

“All signs point to Russia planning a full-scale attack on Ukraine (sic).”

“No troops are being withdrawn, as Russia indicates (sic), but new troops are being added (sic).”

“The risk of an attack is very high (sic).”

“This is a new normal that we have a Russia which is openly contesting core values for European security (sic) and then demonstrating their will to use force or the threat of force to get their will (sic).”

The high risk of attack became reality last week after Kiev escalated aggression on Donbass.

Perhaps Stoltenberg was preoccupied studying lines prepared for him to recite by hegemon USA and failed to notice near-full-scale war by Ukraine on Donbass.

As long as hegemon USA wants hot war wherever it’s ongoing, conflict resolution is off the table.

That’s been the status along the contact line between Ukraine and Donbass for nearly eight years.

Nothing in prospect suggests a change in what’s ongoing ahead.
